i got a bad case of pink eye...dont want to go to the doctor because i am out of network....i pick up some pink eye relief drops....anyone know of any other home remedies i could do to help with this??

Yes i do, put a drop of castor oil in each eye. get some cotton balls, rip open some jasmine tea bags or chamomile works fine too, 1/2 a teaspoon of honey mix those together 1/4 of a cup of water soak the cotton balls in the mix and put these over your eyes for 15 min.

warm towel compresses to your eyes. keep the goop out and you will get better faster.

At your local pharmacy, they may have these drops called Corticosporin over the counter. they have a little antibiotic in them and something for inflammation. Make sure to get the EYE drops and not the ear drops of the same name LOL.

You can only get Cortisporin with a prescription. . .

You can try Zaditor. .. it's an anti-inflammatory. But there are no antibiotics for the eye that you can get over-the-counter. ..

Also if you are having mucous discharge from your eye you might wanna go to one of those minute clinics.

dang, thought it was over the counter now.

@ OP: give it a few days with warm compresses & keeping the eye clean. Most of the time conjunctivitis is viral or allergic and NOT bacterial in adults. If after about 3 or 4 days it's not better, go to an urgent care clinic (preferably near your local county hospital) and get a prescription. Same for if the bridge of your nose gets inflamed or the other eye becomes affected :smh:
