I think they're gonna keep that Nexus 5 around for a while, and maybe quietly update the specs some time in the future - within a year or so. Phablets arent for everybody 
. Also, if they keep that size (N5) then they have the full range for their developers and consumers.
My Nexus 4 still performs well and I've been waiting to see the new nexus before I upgrade... Guess I'll be knocking on Motorola's door then
