Man, I just dropped my muthafuckin phone and cracked my screen!

I usually ALWAYS have it in a OtterBox but I'm off today, was going to church and the OtterBox is dirty. I ain't wanna have a suit on with a dirty ass phone, so I took it out.

I had it in my suit jacket, inside pocket, then I changed clothes and put it in my shorts cargo pocket. The bitch fell out when I opened my truck door to get out.

I just got the charging port & camera screen changed Wednesday. And this is my second S5, had it warranty replaced last summer.
I got 2 now and OtterBox's for both!

Shit just pissed me off :hmm:

It still works obviously, but now I'm thinking about making a claim, paying the lil $99 and getting a new one and selling one of the ones I got.

:smh:

I have a S5 too...and the only time i take it out of the case is to swap cases...and I am always sitting on the soft ass bed when I do it.

Cracked screen on my S5 in a similar way as the OP.

Have Note 3 now, always stays in case.

Doesnt really matter for me.. because I dropped my ipad, which was Inside an otterbox... the screen cracked and those bitches at Otterbox said they dont cover the damage to the device, just damage to the Otterbox. Im thinking.. Why the fuck did I pay $100 for this bullshit..bc if it falls the right way in or outside the case, the screen will crack
Speaking of crack, I just sat on my new touchscreen laptop and cracked that bitch and hour ago.. fuck!

I'm hard on phones man, but I be tryna keep em for a long time.

I paid about $600 for my shit last year (so I could keep my unlimited data plan), I don't wanna pay another $600 or however much for a S6, then have to pay for new OtterBox's and chargers, and everything the fuck else they get us with.

I be wanting to keep a phone 2 years at least, and even then that comes out to over $300/year after the $99 deductible for a replacement.

The other S5 has water damage and won't charge so I be swapping batteries, my crew uses it when I'm not driving.

I think I'm a swap the screen from it to this one and sell the water damaged S5 with the cracked screen installed on ebay. If I can get $100 I'll be good.

Always in a case. Every time I think I won't, I switch up at the last minute and throw one on. I don't do the insurance thing, I'm usually very careful with my devices. I know as soon as I try to leave out the house without a case what will happen:smh:

I preordered the Note 3 before it came out and still have the same one almost 2 years later with no problems. I planned on keeping it 2 years so that's i why immediately put it in a case and screen protector. I didn't even really check out the Note 4, S5, S6 when they came out. I guess i'll wait to October and see what's next thing coming out

case and protector is the first thing I buy - I don't transition a new phone to everyday use until I have both.

Always. ALWAYS.

Because...:

always in a case and screen protector. i don't know why but i always see women walking around with cracked phones:lol:

I'm careful with my shit though. I've probably dropped my phone 3-4 times in my life but never caught a cracked screen or anything like that. I just get a slim type case and been good..

I have destroyed so many phones that I forced myself to learn to repair them. Now if i break It I fix it.....Its a lot cheaper and yes I keep a case on mine. I just got a Lg Flex because i broke my S4 but I have since fixed that one and am about to sell it.

Always I'm a case. I've ordered my last 2 phones online and i won't take em out the box and activate em till i have a case 4 them

To have that delicate expensive piece of equipment, not protected, is irresponsible.

i never use a case or screen protector. a case is ok, but i hate screen protectors. i use a htc one. i drop my phone sometimes but have never had any bad cracks.

Since I started repairing phones..... I wouldn't ever pay over $100 for a phone & not immediately buy a protective case like an otter box.

I got ppl wanting to replace screens on phones that cost under $50.:smh: Tables too...:smh:

When I tell them the cost of the service far exceeds the price of the phone they look so damn disappointed :lol::lol:

1 dude tried to fix his shit himself & made it even worse... Screws missing & all. Smfh! All because he had no case! :smh::smh::lol:

Exactly ....now I buy broken phones and fix them....:dance:

Protective screens are cool.... But all they protect is the screen from cracking. The energy has to go somewhere.....
So the lcd ends up absorbing the energy & cracking. So you really end up paying more for in the end. Usually when I replace the lcd I just do the entire glass & lcd assembly. Less work less time, more money

Man, I just made it home and I'm still pissed off.

Leave it to some shit like this to amplify every other thing in my life that bothers me. Dash trim loose, my stomach dont look right in this polo, shouldn'tna parked where I parked, why my truck so fucking high?, I shouldn't have drove this truck today, I need more off days... :smh:

This shit fucking wit me because I got bigger problems... that I need to situate. Deeper shit...voids & deficiencies
