I need answers....

I lost $500.00 on the Phoenix game vs. New Orleans...

I wasn't going to even fuck with it but when I checked the injury report everyone was healthy....

When I turned on the game all of a sudden Steve Nash got the flu and Shaq was in street clothes

The whole game they never said why Shaq was not playing....

Does anyone know why son wasn't playing?

I think someone paid Nash to say he had the flu ....:hmm:

Shaq doesn't play when the Suns have back-to-back games. Sort of like a catcher in baseball that doesn't play a day game after a night game so he doesn't put alot of pressure on his knees. Shaq is a second half (of the season) player. If you predicate your bet on him being in the Suns lineup, you should always check to see if they had a game the night before and if he played or not. If he didn't, he will play tonight.

Don't know about Nash. Was probably just suffering from a 24-Hour bug named Chris Paul
:D

Shaq may only be a part time player during this time of the season....but only because they are saving him for the PLAYOFFS. That is where he will earn his salary

by getting bumped in the first round? This is absurd. So he looks at the schedule and chooses which team (or should i say Center) he wants to play against. "lets see, we got New Orleans (Chandler) and Dallas (Dampier) in a back to back. I think I will sit out that New Orelans game and play against Erika". This is bs. So he doesnt realize (nor do the coaches), that his presence could get them more wins, thus having a better seeding in the playoffs. True definition of lazy.

True definition of lazy.

i don't know that it's a definition of lazy.

it' a proven fact that shaquille o'neal hasn't been playing well on the back end of back-to-backs. if this were some sort of unilateral sit-down, i might tend to agree with your perspective.

but this is a team-sanctioned (albeit highly unusual) strategy put into play this season.

furthermore, the timing is right (or wrong); shaquille o'neal has ALWAYS taken more games off around the winter holidays, going back to his days as a faker.

there are 11 more back-to-backs on the suns schedule; let's see how it plays out.

if they suffer some losses in those games, they could also be costing themselves home court advantage in the playoffs for a round or 2. In the end this could be a major issue. I dont agree with it, and i dont see how its tolerated. He's not even injured. Has any other play ever done this? He may not have the offense anymore, but he is surely a presence in the middle. No one is asking him to play 40 minutes a night.

He's in his mid 30's (35 I think), 7'2", well over 300 pounds and on the back end of his career. Yet for the time he is in the lineup, he's still one of the top centers in the league. I believe it's called getting the most out of your aging superstar. He could very well NOT be playing at all and Amare will be getting taxed to death yet again (even more now without Marion)

And I seem to remember a guy called Kareem Abdul Jabbar only playing like 20-25 minutes per night in his last few seaons. Albeit he has nowhere near the 300+ (350?) pounds Shaw is lugging around. Then again, maybe Shaq could study martial arts like Jabbar did to lose weight....think he can do all that while playing an NBA schedule?

And for your information, there are "superstars" that take days off right now. Happens all the time. Though there aren't many that plan it out the way the Suns are doing. Marcus Camby been doing it his entire career. Think it's a coincidence that he only plays about 65-70 games EVERY single season?? Or do you buy the hype about all his injuries?

I thought you knew they're giving Shaq the Barry Bonds treatment. At the beginning of the season, Porter said Shaq wasn't going to play back to back games.

The Shaq thing ain't really have me heated as much as Steve Nash's absence...It was more so the fact that the very next day Steve Nash was playing against the Mav's & I never even saw him sneeze, sniffle or cough!

With Shaq when they played the Mavs I noticed ...He was the biggest player & wasn't snatching rebounds...He wasn't scoring....He is always the last one up the court...& we know he don't make free throws...sooooo WHAT THE FUCK DOES HE DO?

They play Utah next & I will be watching but I won't be betting...on that one. :smh:

All my gamblers don't get gassed by tonight's win by Utah they played the Raptors & are short "3 key players"
The Suns been losin since been losin & they might be due for a win...

Suns have been fucking up ever since Joe Johnson left. They are not a lock to make the playoffs this year either.
