Philando Castile was shot 4 times by police while reaching for his requsted ID and died.

use the ignore button maam, dont even bother with IT..i used the ignore "button" 3x yesterday..we dont have the time for that anymore..save ur posts for constructive shit.with all due respect

This here... not waiting on mods to ban. New ignore is sufficient.

New video:

i love the fact that she spoke thru the video and during this presser becos it gets her words out before the police starts diseminating their bs, i love the fact that she was talking in the video in the car about how they followed the cops instruction and how cop shot him anyway..its a smart move we dont have to "wait for details," she already put it out there before they could

Exactly. We don't have the time for those who filibuster anymore.

In the Castile case, I bet the officer was thinking about killing her too.

"The man reached for a weapon, I was forced to fire in response. Bullets struck them both. Did I mention the weed in the car? They were on a cannabis rampage and I'm just lucky to have been there to save that child."

That was my first thought too. He probably thought that she was doing a live video chat or FB live stream or something so that may have detered him from doing that. I did not even know that there was a child in the car. 4 shots for 1 reach? In a car with a woman and a child? Where is the threat? Dude was not even the driver? That cac cop probably would have killed them all had her phone battery been dead.

I think they knew she was recording, I don't think they knew she was uploading to facebook.

Man, I can't fucking take this shit any more. I'm going to push all black folks to get a ccw And head to a gun range (preferably black owned).

How hard is it to start a black gun club? Or, anyone have a listing of some (I'm googling now). If we're just being shot by these cowards, I'm not standing idly by. It's time to mobilize.
BLACK MEN WE HAVE TO STICK TOGETHER WE DONT HAVE NO FRIENDS!!

This is some sad shit. Got my eyes wattery...

Philando Castile, Minnesota man killed by police during traffic stop, was a 'sweet, gentle spirit' who avoided trouble, family and colleagues say

Before Philando Castile was killed by police during a traffic stop, he woke up every weekday morning to prepare and serve food to over 500 students at a Montessori school in Saint Paul, Minn and was known to greet coworkers "with a smile and hug."

“He had a sweet, gentle spirit and he loved kids and he was a great employee,” Katherine Holmquist-Burks, the principal at the J.J. Hill Montessori School where she hired Castile to be a Cafeteria Supervisor, told the Daily News.

“He was one of the nicest people I’ve hired probably,” she said.

Castile, 32, is known to the world now as the black man who was shot four times by a St. Anthony's police officer after getting pulled over for a broken tail light in the Saint Paul suburb of Falcon Heights, Minn.

The cafeterian is seen slumped over and bleeding in the driver's seat in a shocking live stream video taken by his girlfriend, Diamond Reynolds, who started filming after shots were fired. The video sparked outrage over yet another police-involved shooting, merely a day after another black man, Alton Sterling, was pinned down and shot by cops in Baton Rouge, La.

His family and co-workers remember Castile as a surrogate father who preferred to stay home and play video games rather than go out to bars and as someone who held a steady job for 14 years and was planning for his future.

Castile graduated from Central High School in 2001 and worked in cafeterias in the Saint Paul Public School system since 2002, when he was 19-years-old. He excelled at his job and was promoted to a supervisor position two years ago, according to a statement from the school system.

"Colleagues describe him as a team player who maintained great relationships with staff and students alike. He had a cheerful disposition and his colleagues enjoyed working with him. He was quick to greet former coworkers with a smile and a hug," the statement read.

Castile was also known for his generosity to kids and never let students skip lunch, even if they didn’t have any money in their lunch fund, Holmquist-Burks said.

“Some supervisors, they will just say they (the kids) have to have a peanut butter sandwich. He would let them have the lunch and worry about the money later,” she said.

“That’s what I admire about him most,” she said, adding that she has struggled with how to tell the kids why Castile won't be coming back to the school.

“I feel like this was such a horrible injustice he was killed. He was at the prime of his life and he had a good career. He did a great job.”

Philando Castile shooting stirs social media outrage

Castile raised his girlfriend's 4-year-old daughter —who was in the back seat of the car when he was killed — as his own, according to Reynolds.

“My daughter will forever be scarred by what the police of Falcon Heights did to us,” Reynolds screamed in an impromptu Facebook Live announcement the day following Castile’s death.

Aside from a laundry list of traffic violations, records show Castile did not have a criminal record.

Family said Castile was a licensed gun owner who had obtained a concealed carry permit with his sister, Alysza Castile.

According to his girlfriend's account of the shooting, Castile followed proper protocol and told police during the traffic stop that he had a gun in the car. The unidentified cop started firing when Castile reached for his license and registration from his pocket, she says in the viral video.

"My nephew has a (concealed carry) permit, and still got killed for carrying a gun ... this needs to stop. This happens so often,” Clarence Castile, his uncle, told CNN.

Castile’s family reiterated colleagues’ descriptions of him as a “laid back” man who plays by the book.

"Everybody that knows my son knows that he is a laid back, quiet individual that works hard every day, pays taxes and comes home and plays video games. That's it," his mother, Valerie Castile, told CNN.

"He's not a gang banger. He's not a thug. He's very respectable. And I know he didn't antagonize that officer in any way to make him feel like his life was threatened," she said.

The last time Clarence Castile spoke with his nephew was on Mother’s Day, when the two discussed setting up a nest egg for when he retires from his job as a school cafeterian, he said.

“We all know my nephew was a good kid and we want justice as well as relief.”

Any house nigga that admits he's for Trump that I come across is catching a beat down.

my girl's cousin is a cop. he is voting for trump and this is the shit he posted to FB today.

"I've looked at the videos and comments regarding them. Some comments are disturbing while others are merely venting. I get it.
I won't give my opinion in regards to the shootings because I don't have enough information to give a true opinion. There are a lot of factors that are in play here and I'm not privileged to have that info.
I will say this tough. If an officer is giving you a command...COMPLY. Please don't try to hold court at the scene because someone may get killed or hurt.

If you think that officer has done wrong against you, file your complaint. TRUST ME. It works.
Of course there is a process to get lady justice to work. She never ran the 4-40, she is a cross country runner. With patience and diligence, your concerns will be answered.
Tell your hot headed friends and family to shut up when dealing with the police. I am a professional, but there are only so many threats I'm gonna take. I got a beautiful family to come home to and I WILL NOT let some low life alter that outcome. Trust me I'm faster than I look and I got training to back it up...my aim is true.
To those who are aware, we know why situations like this are mainstream news. It fits the agenda to turn our attention away from other matters. I won't get to deep in that because it's not the time or place.

In conclusion, teach your children to have respect for authority, i.e. teachers, judges, bosses, and yeah the police. You may not like us, but respect my position and we all will get through this fine.
Take responsibility if you are in the wrong. If you've done nothing then it will only be time wasted.
Better to be able to talk bad about the police to friends and family then to have your folks talk on your behalf because you're pushing up daisys.
Thanks."

and yes both my girl and her cousin are black and both born in TN.

He can still form an opinion, that's why it's called an opinion. Would he feel the same way if it hit closer to home? Doubt it.

Fuck your cousin

she must be from round here cuz she mentioned some pretty white (and notoriously racist) suburbs ......

nonetheless....she is an officer that is breaking the "blue shield / blue wall" of silence, and should be congratulated / celebrated. it sickens me that so many police want to say "we're not all bad..." but when shit like this happens they're quiet as church mice......

fuck those cops, R.I.P. to the fallen brother / king...he sounded like a real stand up teacher and more importantly a good man

page removed. she got that call.

Literally everytime we'd leave Minneapolis - St. Paul area we'd get stopped and grilled...

There a silver lining in us seeing this.

What coon still thinks we're getting gunned down over a piece of fucking pound cake?

If the message isn't clear yet, you need a hearing aid because it is loud and clear.

The black race is officially under siege.
