Philadelphia 76ers Opted Out On Building Arena In Center City

Oh shit!!! Good. All the bad publicity worked. All they have to do is team up with the Flyers for the new area right there in the same area. Stop being so goddam greedy and do what's best for the fans.

I sae motherfuckers was so worried about ching chong ming mong fing fong having somewhere to sleep at night.

When these bat eating chinks bring the new covid to your town, remember I said you are fucking welcome!
No no no. It was much deeper than that. Josh Harris and city officials lied about how it would help China Town. That was bullshit. We all knew that. The other thing was it would have really hurt the fans. Traffic is a fuckin nightmare as it is in that area. There is literally no place to build suitable parking for a 20,000 seat arena. People were not going to take public transportation for the game and the city already said they weren’t going to hire more officers to patrol for public transportation. It was a disaster from the rip proposed on all lies just to make Harris more money. Every goddam word that comes out dat crakkkas mouth is a goddam lie.

This is all they had to do from the beginning. Harris didn't want to split revenue with Comcast Spectacor when it came to concerts and other events. Fuckin greedy ass bastard. :smh:

Well, at least we know thye're staying in south philly building a new arena there.

I think to get that bill pass to build arena in center city was to force comcast spectacor hand on making agreement that would be 50/50 to stay in south philly.

I think Comcast was like whatever muthafucka. Do what you want. It was reported they were fine with the 50/50. They know how Harris operates and what was up with him trying to move the Sixers. But you are absolutely right. The city did meet with and ask Comcast about it

They're gonna share a new arena

Yeah, I just hope the new arena is not nothing similar how the old arena looks.

But I remember reading comcast spectacor paid a lot of money for renovations even know it was still a old ass building.

It was time for a change building a modern arena.

So, at least everything will stay together in south philly.

Yeah I think they will give it a nice fresh new look

Ok this makes a lot of sense

70 cars was not nearly enough..... maybe 150.....

But on game days the Cavs get at least 500 additional cars in downtown Cleveland.

*During the early month(s) park n ride / rail is extremely popular.....

Not sure what traffic is like during heavy snow days, but for the game I went to during Xmas week, the parking lots within 2 blocks were damn near full 30 minutes before tip-off. And some were charging upto $30. During playoffs that shit hits $50

Why they opting out?
That's what I want to know.

Seems like comcast spectacor must've agreed on something to join together to build the arena in south philly.

That bill being passed force comcast to make amends on allowing the sixers to get what they want as well.

But I can't lie, south philly does make sense to keep it there since all the sports stadiums are there as well.

Now, I just want to know how this new modern arena will look because the old ass arena now is outdated and needs to be torn down.

yep, plenty of space, parking and the sub
Easy for people to get out and hit the road too of whatever direction they need to go.

They can still catch the EL to get to the games too.

There's a lot of older people who don't know nothing about transportation nor want to deal with it since they have been driving almost all their life.
