Ef the media bias, It's called leadership! Thomas didn't block and was basically lazy! That was an effort play for Julius Thomas and he failed. He deserved that ish. He needs to learn how to win and not just get by.

The misrepresentation of his actions are we got him that tainted reputation and the blind eye to the white quarterbacks protects theirs.

How I see it, the QB position is the most coveted position in football. It does not matter who is the QB, he will get the most praise and possibly the most blame. WRs, RBs and defensive players are more expendable. Dez does his own thing. He is passionate. He is emotional. He is extremely talented, but there are guys like him made all over the place. The media(white) loves players who are stoic, no emotion, does what he is told while shutting up as well as someone who produces while not complaining. If you ask the average media person, fan or NFL personnel to choose between Dez or Peyton as being the player they will prefer to be the face of their franchise, I believe an overwhelming majority will pick Peyton. Some of it could be race related, but people will cite character and talent being the major factors.
