Sherman is the last guy you want (as a competitor) to get a ring. A great individual player that's a relentless shit talker and loud mouth. He has all bases covered to support and validate him being a unrepenting asshole. Accepted as arguably the best at his position, one of the highest paid at his position, Champion.

You cant win an argument with this guy short of fucking his wife.

when a player does his job and breaks up the play that couldve changed the story ending -- the ring ends all convo- and this isnt basketball but horry got as much rings as mj if not more- duncan has more rings than kd probably will ever have - kd is still regarded as the better player-- kobe earned maybe 3 rings etc etc

Man i dont see peterson being all that great. They try to say Sherman plays all cover 4 but ATL is in my division and i seen him man up on Roddy White and Julius Jones.

If u examine and break down both contracts (years, guarantee, etc)....PP didnt really get a hell of a lot more than Sherman. Plus...being a well known player in the NFL; playoffs and being a factor in SB wins can open many doors for extra cash.

Well maybe Peterson needs to only play one side too, then. Peterson's numbers simply don't compare to Shermans. Moreover, Sherman plays in arguably, if not factually, the best defensive scheme in the NFL. That he gets to play one side in that system is a compliment.
