You live in nyc?

He’s a NY media LEGACY.....still bad choice of words.

Some legacies need to pass. Never put questionable language in writing but it's ludicrous to share it with the world!

HE'S GOTTA GO! This dude chips away at boundaries if he's allowed to continue.

Nah I live in DC where we smack mafuckas that say that shit and ain’t black. But the NY culture (Fat Joe, Pun, fucking desus and mero) has shown me they let that shit slide, even embrace it on some we ‘all niggas’ type shit
that's a fine line tho, cause if thats the case fabolous, nore, and a bunch of others cant be saying it too

Not cosigning the over usage of the word but Carribean Latinos are very black and those who do grow up in NYC grow up with us black people.

We don't have many "taco makers" out here and those few know their place

Folk, I know they Black. You know they Black.... but do they? I don’t hear many speaking on the plights of being Afro-Latina. Seem like they decide who they wanna rock for when it’s convenient. I dig what you saying about proximity and them growing up next to ya but where I’m from it ain’t like that. And it’s a proliferation of hip hop culture which has influenced messicans nationwide to think they got a pass and NY gives them that liscense. In Cali I don’t hear Spanish speakers going nigga this and that. Same thing in Florida and Detroit... but what do I know? Peace

If Spanish speakers in Cali, Detroit and Florida aren't saying nigga this and nigga that then how has NYC influenced them?

I spent some time in San Antonio, Texas after Katrina and Mexicans used the word "nigga" a lot and keep in mind San Antonio was only about 6% black in the mid 2000s. So the taco makers are using it too.

Peace,

We need to stop differentiating between those two words.

Anyway, anytime a cac says it, we know what it is.

why tho?

NYC has a lot of hispanics, as well as spanish. And most of them are racists and do say 'nigga' everywhere.
