Very good leg strength balance and footwork.(Maybe the best)
 
Out of that olympic class always thought Meldrick Taylor was better but was just less fortunate, but yeah, Sweet Pea was no joke.
 
Did you see the way he was held up in the corner...and then just walked out like the round was over? :lol: classic! He's the fiercest "clown" of boxing I've ever seen...best defensive boxer I've seen so far. :lol:
 
Whitaker was the guy who brought me back to boxing as a kid. Once my heros of Ali and Sugar Ray Leonard had either quit or faded, I lost interest but then I saw Pernell and I was back.
 
It was cool hearing from Manny Steward about the gym wars that Whitaker and Camacho used to have. I guess they were too close to actually do it for real. Sweet Pea was an artist.
