Black men and Black women are being controlled like puppet's, and they don't even know it. The negativity is being fed to the Black community through the media, and that is where the brainwashing starts.

You see dudes on TV driving rimmed out cars; calling women bitches; making it rain; dressing like thugs ... and that is what you do. That is the symbol of success that you can relate to. Those dudes are TV are the 'alpha-male' to the Black community, so in an attempt to at least portray themselves as an alpha-male, they attempt to follow suit.

Rap music has become a fucking poison to our community, and it's a poison that many people consume everyday, without realizing the negative effects it's having on us and our youth. When 2Pac started showing off his 'Thug Life' tattoo, their were MANY dudes at my school who went and got the same tattoo.

I promise you, if you look at the type's of artist's that dominate your music collection, their is a strong possibility that you are very similar to who they are. How many "thugs" you know with Will Smith albums in their music collection? I know a lot of so-called thugs, but I don't know ONE that even listens to Will Smith.

Our community is being influenced by negative media, that's ultimateli shaping the minds of our men, and ultimately determining for females what's a desirable man.
