How do you feel about nonblack people using it?
what's making me curious is how I resent hearing it from these little Asian and Mexican teenagers and grown men... almost as much as I hate hearing it from black folks. When they use it, does it have the same meaning? Just curious...

I hate the word in all forms and from any mouth. It makes my skin crawl... "Brother", "brotha", "man", "woman", "sista", "dude" can all replace it... but coming from a nonblack person's mouth just shows how disrespectful the word is when used toward any body. and sadly it's used a lot in rap music and I think that's where a lot of younger people are getting it from, thinking it's cool, because rap is so ubiquitous now.
