I've heard of this before. A relative of mine was made to go in front of the church and apologize. But she didn't have to give up the baby though.
 
Pastor may have violated the teen's/minor's right to privacy and tortiously exposed her to ridicule, infamy and defamed her character.

If so, and assuming it could be successfully argued that he was acting as an agent of the church, the church's treasury might be exposed to damages (how would the good members/tithers, donors, etc., like that?). Wonder if that would make preachers in the future think twice.
