A teenage girl has been forced to stand by the side of a busy road holding a sign accusing her of 'disrespect' towards her family.

15-year-old Jasmine has had a number of behavioural issues, and the last straw for her parents came when she let a boy into her house in the middle of the night.

So they made her stand out near their home in Palm Coast, Florida, advertising her misdeeds for passers-by to see.

The sign held by Jasmine, whose surname has not been released, read: 'I sneak boys in at 3am and disrespect my parents and grandparents.'

I've never been a fan of these parents putting their children on blast like that...I've seen it twice w/ black parents...one was for grades...the other was for selling drugs I think...this shit even crazier tho...basically you telling the neighborhood your daughter is a "ho"...

Yeah this one is going to backfire on their asses, that shit is only going to make her more popular with the boys in her area. She may be ashamed when adults are around but when little boys start giving her even more attention for it she'll love that shit. Psychologically they're probably damaging their daughter more than the shit their trying to prevent.

I think this shit works with shit like grades or even when a kid gets a little crazy in the streets but hasn't gotten totally wild. I think this and showing a kid get their ass beat by parents or authority figures only shames them and makes their behavior even more extreme since they are now embarrassed and feel the need to compensate even more with their negative behavior.
 
Ignorant, desperate. People always want to attack the symptom and not the problem. The girl getting boys up in her is a symptom of the parents not paying enough attention to her when she was younger. And she's seeking the attention she should've gotten from mommy and real daddy from other boys. This child was defiant and unremorseful. She's going to act out in other ways.

I agree because all parents didn't fuck up because the kids do fucked up shit.

I disagree with the sign though especially when announcing your young daughter fucking.

we got a belt,brick,broom or shoe thrown at us.
 
Even worse if she wasn't really bringing multiple 'boys' in the room and just one she liked...this gets her the wrong kinda attention...the way these teenage girls are fragile nowadays the embarrassment could push her to suicidal thoughts :smh:

And 20 more other additives to make good parenting. Nope, THOSE don't when they know they're not supposed too. They know to wait. They know about respect of the parents. And all those other little things people who know better do.

It's lazy and stupid to say "i know girls who had... blah parents". No you don't. If they were everything they were supposed to be as parents then they wouldn't have a daughter doing what she's doing. Hell look at what they're doing is PROOF POSITIVE. As parents, they struggle.

her parents are most likely always in her business otherwise they wouldnt go through the effort of standing outside with her with a sign
