The Carolina Panthers announced Wednesday that cornerback Ken Lucas has been released.

Lucas played four years with the Panthers, starting 49 of 50 games and recording 13 interceptions.

"Ken Lucas has been a very valuable player for us over the last four years and played an important role on two playoff teams during that span. Ken is a true pro and we wish him the very best," said general manager Marty Hurney. "This year, we have re-signed some veteran players and this move means some younger players will have an opportunity to step up."

Prior to signing with Carolina, Lucas played four seasons with Seattle after the Seahawks selected him in the second round of the 2001 NFL draft following his college career at the University of Mississippi.
Now get the steppin bitch nigga
Lucas fell off hard since he had first arrived in Carolina. He became a liability in the secondary. Always getting cooked and shit :smh:
Time for my nigga Richard Marshall to take over opposite of Chris Gamble

I wouldn't mind him on the Dolphins though, couple teams took from our DB core that was not that strong to begin with.

Lucas ain't what he used to be, Richard Marshal will probably take that spot, I'm just waiting for this J Peppers issue to be finished.

My guess is that he would probably wind up on the Saints. He knows the recievers in the division and they need help at that position.
