Criteria is the same as it was before. You get to keep a certain amount
of players. Once the season is over, you submit a list to me and it won't
change.
And it won't be that easy to choose players. You may think you got it
sewn up, but I betcha the cat who kept Amare just knew he was in
the catbird's seat. You just never know. I'm in TWO keeper leagues
already, and in both of them, I kept Carlos Boozer from last year.....
Figuring that since he missed the second half of last season, he'd
be extra strong this year.....Joke's on me though
Anyway, you'd have to keep an even number of players so the draft
would fall correctly. So I would suggest 6 players. In my other league,
there's only 8 teams, so we are gonna keep 10 players each.....
The draft order would be worst to first in order. The champ picks last
and the worst picks first. You could do the draft offline if we kept a
full roster, but since we only keep six, the draft would be live, but
instead of random order like we always do, it would be a SELECTED
order (commish can do that in advance).....
You prerank your keeper picks as your top 5 picks. As long as EVERYBODY
does this, Yahoo will pick your players automatically. Of course there's
always ONE dickhead who won't prerank and end up with the top five
players ranked as his first five picks (I HATE this mofo). I then have to
change his picks manually. Which is a pain in the ass......
Really, there's no work for the manager to do except prerank...The bulk
of the work falls on the commish to make sure everybody's picks are
correct. But six primo picks won't guarantee you dominate any league
I did it twice this year and except for the NON preranker, it worked great
