I'm not a philosopher but I believe religion releases you from logic and reason. It gives you freedom to accept some things that are beyond logic, reason, and the physical laws of nature. I'm a christian, so as an example we are taught that Jesus was born of a virgin, walked on water, and that he fed thousands of people with the most meager supplies. Finally, our whole religion is centered around him dying and being resurrected. Without religious faith it is impossible to accept any of that. With religious faith we dismiss logic, reason, physical laws, and accept it all as gospel.

Should he take the call? I don't know to many adults that wouldn't accept a call from the POTUS. What they each say to one another would be very interesting.
