Were there any notorious groupies/hoes back in the 80s or 90s? What type of scandalous shit did they do?
And not just groupies...who were the models/dimepieces that dudes lusted over? Like for example, Esther Baxter and Bria Myles...who would of been their "equivalent", in the 80s and 90s?
Not very many.
Most Black women still had a sense of CLASS and discretion in those days.
And if they did do any of the shit a Karrine Steffans, etc. did, it was kept behind closed doors.
End of the story right there...
This was the major jumpoff of the 90's:

Hmm let's see, Curtis Martin, Jason Kidd, Shemar Moore, Jim Jackson. Somebody help me out with any I've missed.
Thats the point I was making playboy. Being in the video doesn't automatically mean the people in it are fucking. You might want to re-read what I wrote.
Too bad you can't say the same about black men. You know, Wilt Chamberlain bragging about fucking 20,000 women, or Magic bragging about fucking 5 different women (or whomever) in a day.
That's a powerful statement, but do you really think black women all of a sudden became indiscrete attention whores at the turn of the century?
The reality is black female sexuality had/has been repressed for hundreds of years and only a fortunate confluence of elements at the new mileneum allowed them to finally start showing off their sexual side in the media. The general rise in internet/computer use, YouTube, Myspace, the appearance of black "lad" magazines, pay websites, hip hop music videos, BET, J Lo... All these things converged to allow black women to start finally showing their asses comfortably in front of the camera.
So it's not that the girls from the prior generation were so chaste or discrete... it's just that they didn't have a venue to be slutty in yet, lol.
No, what happened was in the '80s and '90s, there wasn't the money in being a professional Hip-Hop/NBA/NFL groupie that there is now. The money was in being a Rock N Roll groupie which is why Pamela Des Barres and Pam Anderson and Tawny Kitaen and Bobby Brown and Carmen Electra and all them bitches got famous. They were the Superheads, Melyssa Fords, and Buffy The Body's of their day. It was all about Rock
But in the the late '90s, thanks to Cobain, 2pac, and Biggie dying, Hip-Hop led by Puffy and Jay and guys like that became the excessive, decadent, party music that Rock N Roll used to be, so now the famous hoes are Black, whereas back in the '80s, you wouldn't get a reality show, book deal, Mercedes Benz, and shit like that unless you were with a White Rock band or somebody in that statosphere.
