Warrantless Wiretapping doesn't mean the government can just tap your shit at will. They still have to have probable cause. It's the same as when a cop pulls you over. IF he has probable cause that you are doing some fuck shit then he can search your vehicle without a warrant.

Who exactly can stop the government from "just tapping your shit at will"? And i don't mean theoretically, i mean realistically? The whole reason people have a problem with it is, in this situation, the government can do whatever it fucking wants to and no one will stop them.

Look I could see how somebody could easily say chill just let Obama do his thing. And Im sure that he and his administration would not abuse that type of authority. But my thing is Obama and his admin arent always goin to be calling the shots. I just dont feel comfortable having the president with that type of authority. My conversations are private just like my property. the police cant write a traffic ticket in my lawn and the govt shouldnt be able to tap into my conversation. The cause for this is to assit on fighting terrorist but who says in the future that our greatest enemy wont be the one running the country?

You were probably one of those people clapping in the background when Obama was being a smart ass about the #1 question everyone wanted answered in that town hall. Unfortunately it wasn't the correct response and a S.F. dispensary got raided the next day, after supposedly promising that he and Eric Holder would cease the raids on medical marijuana dispensaries only a week prior. Now THAT raised some skepticism and he'll have to put his foot up the DEA's ass and rectify this shit real quick before it gets ugly.

Correction my friend. Police CAN write a traffic ticket in your lawn. Legislation just passed in the south that if you have your car parked on your lawn, you WILL get a ticket.
Regardless, of what the law is. It doesn't stop the government, the police or the average citizen from abusing it. So people should stop worrying so much about something that will not directly affect them.
