Oklahoma, texas a&m and va tech likely headed to the sec

well we will see alot of speculation but no ones showing their cards time well let us know for sure and if fsu go miami is sure to follow

What makes this even crazier is...the SEC would still be the best Football Conference if it just stayed the way it is. (and football is what all of this merging is about anyway)...

Get ready for more SEC hatred...cause for the forseeable future the winner of the SECCG is the National Champion in Waiting

The AD of Miami said that they are content with staying in the ACC, and have no plans to go elsewhere. As we all know, plans change sometimes. Btw, judging by the political landscape in Texas, I don't know if they're going to split up UT and A&M.

Man I hope this pans out.

If you want to be the best you've got to beat the best and I have no issues with saying the best conference is in the SEC.

We coming (hopefully).

And OU in the SEC title game in Atlanta, downtown, I'm THERE:dance:

Man fuck these niggas.

Fuck the Big 12.

If you want to be the best then you've got to be the best and these hoe ass niggas did all that shit for nothing.

Texas have said they are going nowhere. According to the deal they have with the Big 12, they will get more money than anyone else, almost $17 million a year. And now they are going to start their own TV network called the Longhorn Network from which they expect to receive at least $3million per year... Given that there are 22 million people in Texas, I suspect that this network will be such a hit that they will be getting more than 10 million per year from it. The decision to not join a super conference is a smart one. It ensures that they will be in the National Championship game every other year. Look at what joining the ACC did to Miami and FSU; it allowed them to cancel each other out as factors on the national title stage...

Got a feeling the Big 12 stays....They will bring in either, Smu, TCU, UTEP, Univ. Of Houston or Rice and keep it rolling...Also, this dosen't kill their budgets for travel for the other sports besides Football and Basketball. Imagine a Bus ride from Austin to Univ of Florida...you would have to fly everyone to those places for the sake of lost time in class and the budget.

BTW...I dont think Ohio St wants to see Nebraska year in and year out in that conference...Nebraska is one of the few schools up there that is set up similar to Ohio St. in terms of being able to recruit a whole st and the way they travel. I will predict Nebraska takes the Big 10 1st yr of play...that defense is nasty!

Bo Pelini don't play.

He almost won the Big 12 without an offense.

Big 10 schools better not sleep on the Corn Huskers.

That was me speaking as a fan of OU.

This was nothing more than a money & power grab.

They said T Boone Pickens had something to do with the outcome of the Big 12 staying together too.

IT actually would have worked b/c if they joined the pac 10 along with ou and them then they probably would be in the eastern conference and then they would have thrown in arizona and asu and maybe usc, but it came down to money and the big 12 comish knew what time it was so he gave into everything texas wanted adn then some but at the end of the day i think he only prolonged the inevitable b/c the other schools aren't going to sit by and let texas get the lions share of the big 12's revenue and they going to bounce and texas won't stay so in the end they may go to the pac-10 or sec and they may add tcu or houston but again only patch up jobs mark my words this if far from over
