I have a web site that i want to expand on. and if possible i would like a little help from the guys and gals here.

Im about to market a webiste called www.ekazi.com it an ebay clone.

but before i send out the 28 million emails i have i need to have some people put some listings up and generally test out my site. you can list anything you want (barring porn please) and you get a 10.00 credit to start out.

the site will eventually go for $10 a month with up to 100 auction and 5 pictures per auction. to 19.99 per month with unlimited auctions.

so if you would please go to ekazi.com and register and give me any ideas you might have for improving the site.


buy the way im the guy who started 100brothers for the corporate thread here and some asshole posted my home address and phone number on the site here for my trouble.

anyway thanks and gimme your opinions please. :)
 
No im not trying to sell anyone anything i just need feedback on the site design.

and to see how well the site reacts here as apposed to my hosting platform at home.

buy the way the credit is so you dont have to use anything of yours telling any personal information. you can use fake names if you like as well i just need to get the sql database populated with something.
 
any feedback at all.

damn try and ask your people for something and they flake on you.

didnt ask for money.. offered to PAY for a sig and still nothin.
 
could have a drop down menu for the states option on the registration screen.
also, i tried to register using fake info of course, got an error message, might want to work on that.
all in all, the site is real plain to me. i'm assuming that you're trying to tap into ebay's market, good luck with that. great work and a great start, it's going to take a lil tweaking. personally, i'd adjust the site design.

i had another person tell me that too about the login it seems my host cant take over a 100 people logging in at once. i did a stress test on it for a day and the server was down to 56k speed.

about the site desigh what would you recommend more colors vivid colours or just a more futuristic design?

I want this site to appeal to all people.

oh yeah it has a script in it that wont let you register if you dont know your zip code it stops people like the nigerian scam artists from creating accounts.

Don't mean to bust your bubble but no one is going to pay a monthly fee to list items. The 5 free included pictures is cool, but per item is the best way to go.

#2 What is your aim? Do you want to eventually outdo eBay? How big do you want to be? Is it just a local project?

The design is nice and clean, clear, so you did good work on that front.
 
well the fee thing on ebay is a total scam .i.e. you pay even if you dont sell so i figured pay 10 bucks a monthfor a hundred listings or 19.99 for unlimited listings.

sellers on ebay know how they get you on those fees. so i figured i get 2k people on @ 10 a month. out of the 28 million emails i have in my opt in list someone probalies sells on ebay. and im listing in the engines so im waiting to see.

Im probably going to populate the database with users and sales just for the appearence of business to start.
