Oh Shit Tom Leykis Is Over

Yup, I was listening to Adam Carrola this morning and 97.1freefm in L.A. is gonna start playing Top40 as of next Monday. A gang of people are loising their jobs, and didn't even know until like 2 days ago.
 
but tom is syndicated nation wide.. he's even on here in wichita.. maybe is just going off air in l.a. tom lycus saved me during those long rides on the 405, 110, 91 and 105!!

Yeah he's syndicated but 97.1 is his home station, it's where he broadcast from, and their parent company(CBS radio) pulled the plug. I'm sure he'll find a new home tho.

tom is a white guy who basically is a chauvanist for lack of a better term. a real "keep it real" kind of talk personality. before i got xm, he was on in baltimore and i'd listen on the way home sometimes, then i saw a picture of him and was like..yeah..this guy doesn't get pussy. i'm way off but...that really sucks.
 
The ecconomy is killing the radio buisness. Here in detroit they got rid of our first sports station. all they do is air syndicated sports and the other sports station has to blend in regular talk in its open format.

Hopefully he'll land somewhere to take people out "Kobe Style"
