Hell the Knicks about to break Chandler off w/ $20M a year the next four years...
$14M a season, but I get what you mean.
I'd rather have Chandler than Nene because of Chandler's length... Both have injury concerns though.

Either you are joking... or you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.... or how to read...
Of course they are SUBJECT to approval by the League (not David Stern acting unilaterally) because like I said, they must fall under the NBA rules and guidelines... this is a review process... not an opportunity for David Stern to block trades he doesn't "like"
...come on bruh... think about it... if David Stern had that kind of power why would they need a CBA?think man think... Why lose money and fans in a lockout?? He would just manipulate the league as he sees fit... end of story... and tell everybody get back to work
If you don't understand that then... peace god... cause ain't no saving you
this is ... i dunno.... it's sad bro... so have you come to grips with the reality that there was NEVER a trade.... just rumors... or are you gonna keep living in a international russin mafia fantasy of a grand conspiracy to acquire Dwight Howard??

Yeah league approval..who do you think the "league" is comprised of? The "league" is David Stern and the owners. Stern is employed by the OWNERS....what part of that don't you get? When it is described in the Rule book as SUBJECT TO LEAGUE APPROVAL The league is Stern and the owners. He doesn't use the tactic because in most cases owners would not agree. He can't make them totally unhappy or they could ultimately fire him. The majority of the owners agreed on this that's why it happened. Why do you think the ONLY OWNERS who are speaking out are the ones who were involved?...... He doesn't have unilateral power because he has to basically OK the moves with the owners... Again what part of that don't you get? Did you think league approval meant the players? Come on man.
Coaches, and some owners wanted the Gasol to LA trade vetoed but there wasn't enough owner support.
You are out of pocket... sticking your nose in the conversation without understanding what is being said...fall back... take a deep breath... read the replies then then contribute something that is worthy of reading please... otherwise I won't respond to your crazy talk any further...
no hard feelings... but fall waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back right quick
peace

LOL...This dude said out of pocket...Clearly understood what was being said. You've said plenty times over the past 2 days that people are acting like Stern has this unilateral power and can veto what he wants. You acknowledged that trades are subject to league approval. The league in that text is comprised of Stern and the owners. Not one owner who was not involved in the trade, spoke up in defense of it. The owners wanted it stopped, Stern works for them....he wanted it stopped....with no opposition from his employers he has the power to veto any trade..
You were wrong, accept that...and get out of here with that "Higher road" bullshit bruh.
What are you talking about?
...Do you even know what you are talking about?
Did the owners involved speak out or not?
What trade are you constantly referring to... the CHRIS PAUL trade??
You do realize that the NBA owns Chris Paul's team ....don't you??
You do realize that you agree with me that stern cannot kill trades unilaterally and in act does work for the owners... so he CANNOT veto what he wants.. just because he wants to...
Last time trying to explain this to you man... just like a ref cannot call a foul because he "wants" to and is SUPPOSED to be bound by NBA Rules and Guidelines in the calls he makes... David Stern cannot kill a deal unless it violates the NBA rules and regulations... wait for it.. UNLESS... it is his team as is the case with the Hornets... I can't help you if you don't understand that...
peace
you in the Dwight Howard thread talking about the Chris Paul trade... and using that as an example as to Stern'sveto power ... then you said the kings and hornet's trade... like I said off the jump... you outta pocket... read the thread FIRST before you try sticking your nose in the conversationThose 2 sentences say the same thing. "Why do you think the only owners speaking out are the ones involved?"...Speaking up as in DEFENSE of the trade...
"Not one owner that was NOT involved spoke up"-Again which means in defense of the trade.
David Stern can veto any trade he wants, but the problem is the owners would railroad him out of a damn job. It doesn't have to violate any rules or regulations. Not one. The Kings and Hornets deal was protested by one owner...and they let it ride. I honestly think that even if the league didn't own the Hornets they would have gotten vetoed. Cause in his "official" statement it's sad that it was better that he remain in NO...he explained it as his commissioner power NOT owner power. He could have clearly just said "As the league owns the Hornets, we do not like the deal"...That sounds far more justified than "Basketball Reasons"..Even though we all know it was owner backlash...he still explained it as commissioner...Notice his statement..
That it was decided FREE FROM THE INFLUENCE OF THE OWNERS......Gilberts email didn't come till 10pm...he had already vetoed it by then.
Why would he explain it as commissioner if he could have easily justified by saying we own it?....
So the nets r looking pretty fucked up bout now... Thought Howard was in the bag ....nets bout to get super desperate....

No tampering charges right now, Magic CEO Alex Martins just said. Pic: yfrog.com/nulledoyj
Knew you were hating why are we going to get desperate???

Knicks sign tyson chandler i say good signing. Dwight says he want to go to the nets you find any reason why it can't happen going so far to say we paying farmer 14 million.![]()
6:24 p.m. -- New Magic president Alex Martins told the media that the team has not filed a tampering charge against the Nets. The NBA confirms this as well. But Martins did leave it open as a possiblility.

Fegan says the Orlando gave Howard permission to talk to three teams. New Jersey was one of them.
Tampering charge....gone....Man too much bullshit and deception, get this shit over with...
Aight Killa you can have your job back. I been on the wire all day, it snowed like bitch so I had nothing to do. LOL
sio now no obstacles, time for the nets to sweeten that offer... magic aren't interested in brook and 2/3 picks and a throw-in player.
i wonder if dallas is the 3rd team, they have a big as tpe now due to the chandler move.
nets, houston, dallas? or nets, lakers, houston or dallas?

Where are you getting that the Magic isn't interested? DA is the same one that claimed no owners said anything about the Paul trade, now he saying different. Cause it's damn sure not on his twitter.... I don't see anything from the Magic saying they aren't interested, it just says they are gonna listen to every offer and choose the best one.
but the Orlando Magic don't seem all that enamored with what the Nets are offering. New Jersey's offer centers around big man Brook Lopez and multiple draft picks, but the Magic aren't interested now, according to David Aldridge of NBA.com
The Magic, the source said, will not allow a repeat of the Shaquille O'Neal departure from Orlando to Los Angeles in 1996, when O'Neal walked as a free agent and the Magic were left with nothing. If the organization ultimately decides it has no choice but to trade Howard, it will do so. But the Magic will decide where he goes. The source said a reported proposed package by the Nets of center Brook Lopez and Draft picks for Howard is not at all interesting to the Magic.

Sources confirm Orlando wants a three team deal. That would involved three teams
Denver-Lopez and Farmer. NJ Dwight Hedo and Duhon. Orlando-Nene NJ picks and cash
I just find it odd that only DA reported it.
here we go
So that's why Nene is quiet
thats a horrible trade...depending on what houston can offer...
Magic general manager Otis Smith confirmed to ESPN the Magazine on Friday night that he granted permission to Fegan to speak to the Nets about a deal involving Howard.
That's what Orlando wants not what the Nets are offering.
