Because getting vaccinated reduces your chances of getting infected in the first place. Just because it does not offer 100% protection doesn't make it useless.
The areas of the country that are getting overwhelmed are also the least vaccinated.
No one who knows what they are talking about has said that the vaccine was a cure.
As you vaccinate more people, the raw number of breakthrough infections will increase.
If the vaccine is 95% effective at preventing infection and you vaccinate 100 people, 5 might get infected. If you eventually vaccinate 100,000 people 5,000 might get infected. The raw number going up is not an indication that the vaccine is not working.

This is false homie. It's harder to catch if vaccinated. It's harder to spread if vaccinated. The vaccination decreases the viral load.
Man. We are past the point of no return. When a viable vaccine was available we had 9 months to get the world vaccinated before variants would become effective against the vaccine. We aren't at a point that the virus is endemic.
It's no different than climate change. The window is gone. Now we can only mitigate it's effects but it doesn't seem like we as a collective have the will to do so.

I have a better 1 how often does the vaccinated take covid test?… most never go check to see their updated status.. which means they can have it and show no symptoms and give it to others… lots of vaccinated people stopped wearing mask, stop social distance, and practicing hygienic protocols cause they think it’s real hard to catch covid or in some cases think they can’t catch covid cause they’re vaccinated… last yr these people were masked up, gloves on, hand wash in their pocket, this yr same people once vaccinated mask off, no gloves, no hand wash, up close talking to people.. funny how people changed within 9 months..yet they want to claim the unvaccinated is the problem.. lot of the unvaccinated people I know still practice safety protocols and get updated covid test
