That's what made it so bad man, if Yager had just pushed himself he would have won, because all of those kicks and punches were scoring him major points.

He has super potential, he just has no heart, after he gets hit a few times, he feels like a loser. He has a weak mentality. He doesn't realize, every fight isn't an easy win in which you hardly get hit. In most fights both parties get hit square. If he can't handle that he should get a job.

Agreed, like Dana said his first two fights didn't last 15 sec so he probably thought he was unstoppable, but when he faced a tough opponent he folded.

I don't know if i'd blame it on heart. I just think dude ain't never been hit like the white dude was hitting him. And it looks like his conditioning may be concern as well. By the 2nd round all of those kicks he was doing were coming slower and slower and were becoming less effective. I think the white dude who beat him(can't remember his name so i'll call him white dude lol) deserves props. He got in his ass. He put some hits on him. He took all those kicks and made them look like shit. He's not no chump. He would've never got in the house if he was.

I'd blame it mostly on heart. He didn't come out for the last round because he had been mentally beaten by a tough fighter with more heart. He clearly has the most talent in the house, but with no heart you can't fucking fight. The white guy deserves the victory and did and good job testing Jamie.

What a waste of talent though man *smh* his fighting style looks like it's mixed with capoeira too, shits explosive. He needs to develop his boxing and heart and he'd be a real threat.

Yager was my favorite fighter in the house, and that was the best fight of the season in my opinion. Looks like next episode that weak wrestler who keeps testing Yager is starting shit...again.

I listen to the MMAJunkie podcast quite often (available on ITunes) and they've had Josh (who beat Jamie) on the show about 3/4's of the weeks following the TUF episodes. Listened to yesterday's episode and they were noting same w/ him and asked him about the fight and commented that it doesn't really look like he gets hurt out there. He just keeps moving forward and he noted that he didn't really feel the shots. Jamie is quite unpredictable with the strikes/quicks, but nothing really stunned him out there causing him to back up or feel injured or have to slow down. He noted Jamie was alot quieter in the house upon return from the fight (after getting checked out at the hospital). Didn't have that same swagger ... and he noted the day of the fight making his way to the training facility's octagon camera people who weren't fond of Jamie were giving him the nod and saying things like - "Yeah, kick his ass" ... since he's been running his mouth for so long, etc.

Yeah - as people on the show (and the radio show) were saying ... great fighter or not ... not answering the bell for the 3rd round was telling with JAMIE. That's the kind of thing that sticks with you for years to come. Hell - remember how much fun people had at GABE RUDINGER's expense years back on TUF when he lackadaisically cut weight and couldn't make weight for his fight. People laughed at him for quite some time.

for the most part, this might've been the weakest season, coach wise & talent wise. Yager was the only true talent but unfortunately he actually showed he just doesn't have the heart or mindset.​

yeah, hope they do the gauntlet style opening again next season though, that was great. i'm hoping Dana decides to get some females in UFC. after watchin Gina, Cyborg & others, females can hold their own in MMA actually. What better way to do it than begin a womens division with Ultimate Fighter.

Hell yeah that shit was dope at the beginning, that's why I stuck with this season. I don't know about the women's MMA shit, watching obviously roided out women fight is not too appealing.

i have respect for anyone who gets in & competes but i have zero interest in watching women break each other's noses. if they are attractive women the only way i would watch them fight is in this league

i honestly haven't seen a bad female fight. i looked at it as a joke until i watched them actually fight, them females in Strikeforce/Elite XC don't play.​

Calling Court to win the contract, excellent fight. Props to Kris for showing Josh he wasn't a walk over. Rich Franklin's coaching made a huge difference in how McCray fought and it helped him win.Jamie took a huge L for not showing up to fight Kyacey.:smh: If he fights again on the finale he better win if he wants to get the respect back. Just found out Jamie is fighting Rich Anttinito. He better win.

it was my first time seeing mma live.
had pretty good seats and saw some good fights.
