out of those two i'd go with more like recon but socom is better. Socom is like no other games on the market though. Its all about stratigizing and using your mind. its much more than just running around getting kill after kill (respawn FPS) they have many different game modes that stress teamwork.

When they get the server shit straightened out this gonna be online game of the year,if you don't have a mic and move in groups you not gonna like this.Some of the maps are fucking huge.You can't compare this to Cod4,cod4 is faster paced run and shoot this you have to be a little more stealthy. So from my point of view if you like shooters and camp style action with group teamplay then cop it ,this shit will not dissapoint you. I never really liked 3rd person view shooters but this shit here gonna def keep me busy this winter ,i also like how they have have all the clan shit in the game you know like setting up matches, clan leader boards,send invites to peeps to join up your clan ,your own clan logo which you can create and clan motto. I also like when peeps put that laser sight on their guns and you can see them moving around from long distances away so you can get that head shot

We all got it Bruh, simple fix. What it's saying is, when u first logged on and it autosaved ur profile then prompted the patch download right? After you download the patch and return to the game, it's sayin the auto saved profile u had "pre-patch" is no good. Go to ur xbar and open saved data utility . Delete ur saved player profile from socom and return. If u played the beta, delete that one too. When u return to the game, it will save a new profile for u and then ur ready to split melons!!!

They had to get a $$$ advance to make the servers right, yesterday was fucced up. The server is everything especially for an online only game. We lookin good today though!!!

Bought that shit around 3pm... took about 2 fucking hours for it to load and all that bullshit... then the fucking think telling me I cant get on the network... took it back and had to battle to get my money back because its open software... let me know when the shit works aight... I did not pay 40 to have the fucking game sit by the ps3...

Now I'm back home and I get "An error occured during the start operation. (80029752)" WTF, I've see that for sharing beta codes, but not retail. Me and my brother have shared every download without a problem (Rockband track, Burnout, Pixel Junk, Tekken, etc.)
I took a PTO day just to play it and have not be able to all day. F*ck you Sony! I'm feenin like jodeci to play.
