What's going to happen?
In a recent interview, 24 showrunner Howard Gordon let spill that a major character from the series would be returning for the final season: President David Palmer!
Wait, isn't he dead?
"We actually found a really cool way to bring him back," Gordon reveals, "yet he won't have full use of his voice from the bullet wound to his throat. We do explain that his head wound wasn't fatal due to a metal plate that most U.S. Presidents today have implanted around their skulls to prevent penetration from an assassin's bullet. It isn't like Wolverine's adamantium, but it's pretty close."
So what is his role? Will he be friend, or foe?
"That's a tricky one," says Gordon. "We're not gonna pull that same triple crossing crap that we did last year with Tony Almeida because the audience can see that coming. We realized these viewers aren't as dumb as we thought. Even though we revealed Dana Walsh as the CTU mole last week, my seven-year-old daughter figured it out at beginning of the season. But there is a reason Palmer is back and why they need him. It's to stop the real mastermind behind the events of Day Eight in a story arc that will continue into the feature film. It's a figure from the past of great evil, who like Palmer, everyone thought was dead."

There's been talk about "powers that be" being behind the scenes concerning all the events on "24".
If I recall,
Sherri, Nina, Logan, Palmer, among others have uncovered or mentioned bits of info through the seasons about this.
Now if this shit about Palmer is true,
Then it may all come together as a major primer for the film.
But really,
I think Howard Gordon's just fucking with folks.

They did President Hassan like a Thanksgiving turkey.

This series of 24 is heating up regardless of cliches.
Habib Marwan, (the Mummy guy) makes sense. He would tie in easily with the mid-east terrorists.
Although he did look pretty dead after falling 3-4 stories from that parking garage......
not to mention this was his favorite method of escape
I'm kinda thinking that Renee is gone. If you notice in the previews, they gonna get a little intimate in the next episode. She gonna get killed..Jack gonna hulk up and start shooting everybody. Then have a breakdown in front of everyone. Cant wait to see it!!

I feel you, I think season 6 and 7 were the best though, but I'm feeling it. Sad to see it end.
Yah I miss Martha, I hope they bring her back. She needs to hook up with Aaron. I know Aaron wanna hit that.
