Official Season 8 Of "24" Discussion Thread

I think three or four episodes left...Jack is taking no prisoners...previews show him prepping Logan for a gut check...Logan will tell all like a beeotch!!!

Did you see what the fuck jack was wearing.

Jack is gonna kill the whole world.

LOGAN is FUCKED!!!

Jack wont kill Logan. There is no comeback from killing a expresident

He's hell bent on getting revenge, but yet earlier in the season he was supposed to be getting closer with his daughter and grandchild. He seems like he's ready to throw that all out the window now. Like he choses flesh(R Walker) over blood.

Jack is gonna kill the whole world.

Man, it's like the writers said fuck it... we've got so many gaping plot holes, the only way to make up for it is to have Jack go fucking crazty!

Logan is a survivor he will tell jack how he is tied to the russians and its probably going to be a shocker which will introduce one last bad guy we haven't seen this season.

Don't forget Jack cut that guy's head off in an earlier season! Ain't nuthin too low or gory for Jack!

Loving this. I would hope that a movie might go even further over the top!

OR

Renee must have had that killer pussy cause her death made Jack go mad. Next week's episode is gonna be great when Logan and Jack meet once again.

That mofo was already in trouble but when he said"yeah i killed your bitch":itsawrap:

i figured dude wouldve told him what he wanted to know after he was beat up originally, but when he spit in jack's face i was like :smh:"nice knowing you.." lol

something tells me michael madsen's character might turn on jack next episode..

Jack says "Did you really swallow the chip?"

And that dude was thinking, "damn, that wasn't one of my better ideas..."

Interesting interview with Howard Gordon where he is asked about some of the worst decisions on the show.
Zap2it: What was your worst decision?
Howard Gordon:
“I feel as though the story made a very wrong turn in season 6. I don’t think the idea of Jack’s family was a wrong turn, but I think the way we accelerated the story was wrong, and we paid for it the balance of the year. That, to me, is one of the narrative gaps I don’t think we ever quite recovered from. We did, on an episode-by-episode basis,or on a certain arc-by-arc basis, but the DNA of the season never really recovered from it.
“Honestly, other than that, I’m remarkably free of regrets, because even the moments that one would imagine we’d regret — like the cougar or amnesia or shooting JoBeth Williams in the leg, the moments people would point to as being gaffes — I have to say, they occurred in moments when the story needed them to happen. They were really just collateral damage of the real-time conceit.”
Zap2it: Since each season takes place over one day, people are often in the same clothes for many episodes, if not the whole season. What was the worst wardrobe choice?
Howard Gordon:
“One of the worst wardrobe decisions would probably be Dana Walsh [played by Katee Sackhoff] this year, wearing what looked like a sleeveless cocktail dress. That’s probably up there. CTU agents aren’t supposed to be like that.”

Naw you only betray jack once...chloe's a smart girl.

Was on another board and they were talking what if jack dies at the end of this season or will he just walk away into the sunset. I had this idea for the end of this season:

Naw jack can't be killed off cause they seem to be going fullspeed ahead on the movie. You cannot have a 24 movie without jack.

Now an interesting spin, seeing as this is the last season, finish up this day with a 2 hour movie!

Now that would be a ball-sy season finale. You in your spot on the 24th watching the 2 hour finale. A whole lotta shyt going on and before you know it the clock is counting down and you see 'To be concluded in theaters on...'
