I concur. The director is finally coming around. Which means that he'll be dead soon. It's a law of the universe, and the reason why every CTU director resists Jack's input. They know that sooner or later, they'll be required by law to take one for the team in order to save Jack's life.

but the "good" thing about these plotters is unlike other "bad guys" these guys always have a contingency plan. and a backup plan to that. and when all else fails you find out someone like the ctu director or someone on the inside is the last resort of the plan and they come out when all else fails that storyline is annoying me. seriously couldnt they come up wiht something better? nobody blackmailing me, its just not happening

Yeah, that's a weak subplot. I'm sure they'll juice it up but it doesn't fit. She's a higher up at CTU NY in the middle of a crisis. If she gets a visitor she doesn't want to see, tell security to make him leave. End of story. He's at your place breaking shit, call the cops and they'll make him leave.
Otherwise, promising start. Looks like they're going with a slow boil with
moments thrown in instead of a big disaster in the first hour or two and going from there.
I think that part was to throw you off in believing she was the assassin, after all she is a reporter and could of been talking to her boss, but I guess we will see.
