***Official NFL Draft Thread***

How bad are Reuben Fosters shoulders ???
I'm having flashbacks of Chris Borland calling it quits b/c of his shoulders

:(:(:(

Edit: Oops I forgot about Borlands concussions too

Foster dont have that same luxury of retiring early and walking away from the game.

And wouldn't Foster play the same damn position as Bowman ???
MIKE (middle) Linebacker ???
Where is Bowman going to play ???
Seems kinda redundant

:confused::confused::confused:

You sure you're not mistaking him for his teammate Allen :confused:

1st I've heard of this

Allen has arthritis in his shoulders
But Foster I think had labrum tears in both of his shoulders
PLUS the bullshit at the hospital, dude comes across as a immature knucklehead like Aldon Smith
PLUS him not passing his piss test at the combine
I just don't know man

:smh::smh::smh:

Yeah I mean he probably goes top 15 without the drama but it's a reason why he fell and teams stayed away from him.

Most cats in college done tore the labrum in their shoulder, shit I had to get most of mines taken out because it was torn up so bad. It's pretty common unless it's torn off the bone, then they will put anchors in it to put it back to The bone. Now arthritis is a whole different ballgame.

Something has to materialize in Jacksonville. I'm sick of it. Year after year, high picks and nothing substancial. Put it together fellas.

Reddick, foster, howard, davis, adams, were my favorite players in the first rd but i'm happy with barnett..

He was a prospect that was always solid to me but not exciting...high floor..low ceiling. But its always a pick that i'd be cool with..had way more sacks and production than garrnett..compares to bosa and terrell suggs. I thought bosa was overrated before the draft last year but i was wrong ..hes definitely the real deal.

Now lets get a cb in the 2nd a rb in the 3rd and another cb before the 6th

Yall did good man..foster is one of my favorite players in the draft..would've loved if we took him at 14 if he didnt have all the issues..this offseason he was projected as a top 5 pick top 10 at the latest

Ok Fonz's first comment on this thread... to drop that Titan knowledge. This draft was fucking weird. In the beginning I hated Corey Davis at 5 with Jamal Adams on the board... I felt that we would have a chance at Corey at at 18 or if we traded back ... we still would have a chance at a wideout....

And I would have been fucking wrong... I'm glad we stayed. I give the pick an A+ being fucking smart... we could have ended up without a legit wideout.

As for Adoree.... Dude is raw and will probably be our nickel corner... and I'm giving this Pick a B+.... for one reason and one reason only.. Dude is a punt return monster and our special teams were horrendous and have been horrendous for at least 5 years.... this guy gives us the ability to move him around all over and you have to talk about the versitility.

Now granted I'm dying inside because Oj Howard and Ruben Foster were still there... but I figured that we wouldn't draft Foster because of the combine incident. But man... passing on OJ Howard at 18 stings.

He'll play weak lb at first and immediately challenge Malcom Smith for that position. And of Bowman isn't ready he'll play Mac

Can't wait to go back and see the boards opinion on our picks... this is going to be interesting.

Also..... what the fuck did Chicago and Kansas City do....

And I can't believe the world allowed Watson to go to the Texans.... the only bright spot is they mortgaged the farm on this move. So i pray to black Jesus that he sucks.

Walker is still a Top 5 TE. Robinson is smart cause all the WR would be gone by 18 and Davis and Williams were neck and neck for being the drafts top receivers, Davis is polished and can run after the catch and that corner hasn't even played corner that long and you know Labeau will coach him up, plus he had 8 return tds in college, we need that threat, plus this is a deep draft on defense. I hated that Conklin pick last year but dude was all pro as a rookie.

Quick Draft notes

The Browns got a lot of value.................With Garnett, Watson, Peppers and the TE Njoku. Browns actually get A+ this Draft....Every pick was solid.

Suprised no one picked up Dalvin Cook he might be best Rb in this draft. He does everything you would want a RB to do. He like Devonte Freeman but better.

The NY jets didnt draft a QB?????? Who will QB the jets??

Panthers Christian mcfarrey at 8........hmmmmmm not sure the panthers need Defensive help. And Christian doesn't seem that explosive but we will see.

Chiefs move up from 27 to 10 to get patrick mahomes..........Andy reid does well with Qb if he see something he probably right Mahomes maybe a great QB. Dont forget the 21td and just 2int from nick foles one season.

Plus that kid Byard from last year will be a good free safety, he played close to the line last year but will be the free (his best spot) this year now that we got that Strong box safety in free agency, we getting at least 2 more corners

Excellent pick by the Steelers getting T.J. Watt. We'll get a corner tomorrow.

I'm still not sold on these picks man
Not feeling Soloman Thomas nor Reuben Foster
I don't know ya'll

:fuckyousay::fuckyousay::fuckyousay:
Well they both have a good motor, nice speed on the field, great hands, know how to tackle and have a nose for the football..
These two are the type to make the rest of the defense better...

You see how quick the others got picked up, he wasn't gonna be there at 18, Titans needed a big fast receiver, I was happy with either of the top 3

I like Ross too, but them 3 major injuries are serious, Davis put up over 5000 yards receiving in college and has number 1 receiver size plus run after the catch skills.

Filled our biggest holes, WR and CB:dance:good shit Titans GM, plus he's a good return man

My man @meilmarc was holding it down for me... and he is right on all of this. So far this first round was outstanding.. I have no clue how Robinson knew that no Wideouts were going to be there at 18. This explains why they didn't trade back. The old titans would have actually traded back to 12 and hoped someone would have fallen... and we would have ended up with a great defensive player, but we still would have been looking for a true number 1.

And since there are zero legit free agent options... this was a brilliant move by him. Get the Receiver that fits our system... Williams plays too much like Matthews and Ross's hamstrings aren't going to last in this Nashville dry heat.

As for Adoree... Let me just show the board a small sample of what we had to deal with.

And this was one of his best games...

And finally... I feel sick for Mike Glennon and WHY GIVE A KINGS RANSOM for a dude that would have been there at 4.

Man with this Watson signing... I wouldnt be made if both 3rd picks are corners... LOL

This dude is going to be fucking pissed... and like most here have said Watson is likely going to be a good to great pro qb.... :crymeariver:

Drafting Howard at 18 isn't a knock on Walker at all.... Here's my thought on this. We ran two to three tightend sets 98% of the time. Everyone focuses on Delanie and no one gave a shit about Fasono. Now we just have Walker, Supernaw, Cunningham, and Jace Amano on the roster. Jace out of college was a beast, but he hasn't done shit in the league. So if you are going to run two tight end sets... Why not have 2 beast tight ends to open up the field. There's still tight ends out there, but none will likely be there in the 3rd. My wild card prospect... is Jason Croom in the 5th rd if there. Tennessee Vols have historical produced amazing or serviceable tightend and there is something about Croom that tells me that the system is what affected his production.
