Official NBA 2017-2018 Thread - Final day of the regular with playoff seating still unknown

LeBron isnt KD. He wants to be the man on any team he plays on. He also already has 3 rings so hes not desperate. Not to mention its not even a lock they bringing Paul, Capela, Gordon back. Houston needs to enjoy this season and take advantage cuz theyre not in position to keep this team together.
They better bring in the Brinks truck for Capela, Rockets can't afford to lose him.

Its likely some sorry team gon offer him a max. I think keeping their core should take precedence over going after LeBron. Now if Paul & Capela walks, by all means go after Bron. But LeBron isnt coming to the team that is currently constructed no matter what.

And where would he go that gives him a better chance to win than playing with Harden and Paul?

Houston cant afford to sign Paul and LeBron with the money theyve commited to Harden. LeBron stopped taking paycuts 4 years ago and has said repeatedly he's only playing for the max. So unless Paul is gonna settle for 1, 2 year deals (a la Durant in GS) its not gonna happen. Truthfully, Houston doesnt need LeBron. And Im a LeBron fan. They have enough to win it with what they have. And i dont see LeBron feeling like he desperately needs to win again to the point he wants to be Harden's #2 guy. There are other options, and the league is kinda wide open right now.
