Dubs bout the only team that can spot you that many by the half and you still end up losing they have proven that time and time again with titles to back it up so that why the tnt crew will give them that benefit.. everyone knows d’toni and his system being fools gold and Hardens history of disappearing acts..
I do give rockets credit on staggering Paul’s and Hardens minutes
The coaching and the minutes/rotation has been solid this year.
Staggering their minutes ensures there's an elite level point guard on the court at all times. Harden just had a 17 assist game a couple nights ago, and Paul stay in that 9-11 assist per game range. I hear ya when you speak on D'antoni coaching and Harden turning into the invisible man in the playoffs, but I really believe Chris Paul is gonna fix that. Harden won't feel obligated to do everything like he's had to do the last few times they've made the playoffs. That's gonna be huge in the post season.
And the Pelicans lit us up for 70+ in a half a few nights ago and we still beat them by 7-10 points.
We got some tough games coming up. Spurs last night, with the Bucks, Warriors, Thunder and Celtics on the horizon. Those games will tell me all I need to know about this team.
We've seen this movie before with the Rockets. They will be judged by what they do in the postseason. D'Antoni, Harden, and Paul all have question marks in May & June. To even entertain a chance of winning against the Dubs #1 seed is a must.

These years with Houston will be Chris Paul's best chance to win a ring.
He's been the best PG of his generation. He doesnt get the love that an all-time great player like him deserves.

The Warriors are in the Top 5 of every NBA stat. So not only are the Warriors talented, they also do all of the little things.
The Warriors have earned the respect to be considered great. Houston has done nothing but have great regular seasons only to get smashed in the playoffs
Yep because the Warriors play very good defense. That run down court and throw up a 3 works in the regular season but when points become a premium like they do in the playoffs that throw up a 3 on every shot will get you beat.
Dubs have the #1 scoring offense and defensively are #1 in opponent FG%. Houston has a lot to prove.

He's playing on a minute restriction. If I was Lue I would keep him coming off the bench for rebounding and defensive purposes only.

I think Coach Pop is/would be the deciding factor if that ever to life Htown or Spurs
But these folks that write these stories need to chill with they're thoughts.

But he might be looking at what team has the most talent right now, ready to win NOW. Parker long in the tooth, Manu likely gone... That leaves Leonard and Aldridge... Barring coaching, I'd take my chances with Paul and Harden vs Leonard and Aldridge

He's just not that good. Yeah he has some presence in the paint, but he's slow and terrible on defense. The game has changed and teams want athletic types.
Rather him at the five than Mosgov or Acy.

With the Sixers, Stauskas was inconsistent. He showed flashes of being a good player, but you never knew when he was going to show up.
