Lil snot-nosed CAC kept interrupting him and bringing up shit he ain't wanna talk about then he brought up Shane which made Mayweather stutter a bit then Shane and Hopkins came in the ring and got up in his face so he took that as disrespect and started fingerpointing and talking back and HHH stepped up. The snot-nosed CAC told BHop and Shane to chill then asked Floyd about Pacman. Floyd snatched the mic from him and said he was talking too much and now it's his turn to talk and they cut to Jim Lampley.

It was. I fully understand how Mayweather operates. I think he'll fight Shane eventually but it'll be a long ways from now.

I don't see it happening unless it happens within the next year.

Mayweather will more than likely fight the winner of Cotto/Pacquiao, and then there Shane still has to beat his next opponent (rumored to be Berto in January, who I would expect him to beat) and then there is the process of negotiating and Mayweather is going to try to get Shane to take a ridiculously small portion of the cut, so there are a lot of hurdles in the way of it happening.

I think that Mosley will go 12 rounds looking to land "That one big punch" and Mayweather will tag him with counters all night. Then dudes will complain about Mayweather not engaging with Mosley when he really doesn't have to. Like I said, it's just my opinion.

I think the difference between Floyd being trained by his pops compared to Roger is he's more defensive & less offense with his pops compared to a little defensive minded and more aggressive on offense with Roger. Sweet Pea IMO is the greatest defensive fighter of all time. He straight embarrassed DLH when Oscar could be considered at his prime. He made DLH switch to southpaw and the got dropped in the fight. Sweet Pea was looking like Neo from The Matrix.

I'm curious to see Shane's next fight, because I'm still not sure what he has left. Just a year ago I thought he was shot (even tho that fight w/ Mayorga was @ 154). He looked terrific against Margarito, but I'm still not sold on the 37 year old Mosley

He's been more and more defensive and less offensive in the past 3-4 years, all while being trained by Roger.

At the same time he was aggressive and defensive while being trained by both so in actuality I don't think his trainers are a factor.​

cotto,williams,margarito,mosley,pac....floyd hasn't fought any of them..he beat a dude fighting 2 weight classes above the one he dominated in. When he starts fighting and beating RANKED fighters in his division, maybe I'll throw some of my money his way on a PPV.

Shane is almost as fast as Mayweather..throws better combos, is stronger and gets stronger as the fight goes on. He is probably the ONLY dude fast enough and technically sound enough to actually make Mayweather engage in a fight . It is a scary fight for Floyd because Mosley has the speed to connect and the power to hurt him..

Berto had trouble against Urango, who while a tough opponent, was smaller (coming up from 140 to fight Berto at 147) with way less boxing skills. It was suppose to be a fight that would break Berto out but instead opened up more questions.

And before that you had the Louis Collazo fight, which he almost lost and some believed he did lose. This is the same Louis Collazo that Shane dismantled.

You obviously don't know boxing. Pac and Floyd haven't been anywhere near the same weight class until Pac fought DLH, and its not until then that they started calling out Floyd, and he was still retired at that point.



Shane would give him a lot of problems, speed, power, and knows how to cut off the ring. Shane is a throwback boxer, Mayweather would be in a war against Shane.

Hell even if Cotto beats Pac and fights FLoyd, that would be a better fight than Floyd vs. Pac.






Co-sign Marquez won those fights IMO, and one of them after being knocked down three times in the first round.







DLH was bigger than Floyd when they fought. Hopkins was smaller than Tarver when they fought. Roy Jones Jr. was smaller than John Ruiz when he went to heavyweight and challenged him and won. Size disadvantages are common in boxing.
This was a skills mismatch. And 99% if boxers are going to be at a dis advantage against Floyd, so by your logic know one should fight FLoyd.









Co-sign, Sweat Pea was a better defensive fighter the only thing is Sweat Pea was a little more aggressive offensively if I remember correctly. He also took more risks than Floyd.

With the exception of the Margarito fight I haven't been impressed w/ Shane for years now. Shane is hot because of his last fight, but we can't forget those other fights prior to the Margarito fight of looking like an old fighter. I don't believe a 38 yr old Shane can beat this current Floyd.

HBO deaded the Clottey Shane fight. They are pushing for Mosley Berto in January.

Berto isn't worthy of a mega fight at this point, he truthfully doesn't deserve to fight Shane but know one else will fight Shane so he has no choice.

It seems like Mayweather is maturing some as far as his prefight interviews and shenanigans go. I think that he realized that he had to grow up some to draw in big sponsorship money. Mosley flipped the script on him during the post-fight interview and acted the way Mayweather used to act. Then B-Hop was with Shane like he was supposed to be Shane's muscle. I guess he didn't realize that Triple H was there backing up Mayweather.
