I'm not sure how I feel about the Inhumans involvement in the series.
They are nothing like they were in the past.
More ruthless and domineering.
There is something up with them I'm not yet sure what it is.
I think the change started during Secret Invasion when Black Bolt was kidnapped by the Skrulls and they tried to use his son to force him to use his voice as a weapon against his own people. There were some hints to Inhumans plans in that 4 part SI mini series. A lot of this also has to do with The Inhumans history with The Kree, who were the ones who actually 'created' them. It might even be said that The Inhumans could be a sort of lost tribe and now have returned home to claim their heritage and birthright.
Here's something else to consider. When The Kree created The Inhumans I wonder if that's the name given to them? Why would The Kree associate their creations with a race of people (Humans) who they considered beneath them? I bet they have another name...maybe Sub Kree or Lesser Kree *shrugs*

Man War of Kings is the best series coming out of Marvel right now. They did good on This. Blackbolt is on his way up and Vulcan is TOAST!

Guardians Of The Galaxy is probably one of my favorite books right now and I really dig the lineup.
I just wish they'd find someway to reunite Adam Warlock with his vampiric Soul Gem as I feel that would add some really interesting angles to his character and the book as a whole.
I like this new GOTG incarnation but I think they might have too many members.
Their membership has doubled in under a year.
I think they are currently the biggest super group besides the Imperial Guard or the X-Men in the Marvel U.
I have a few questions about the GOTG.
Who exactly is Jack Flag does he have any powers?
Why does Warlock sometimes turn purple like The Magus?
Is Major Victory the original from GOTH first series? and is he an older version of Justice from the main Marvel Universe?

I think the Guardians are in Flux for right now. They will stabilize after the WoK.
I think Warlocks powers fluctuate depending on his mood. SO when his power emerges he changes colors like a chameleon.
i think MV is the older version of justice.
Major Victory and Justice are the same person but from different timelines. MV was lost in space during an Air Force experiment and ended up in the future with the GOTG. At one point he went back in time and convinced Justice (his younger self) not to join the military. From there the character paths are different.
many, many thanks for the threads and the posts on these mega series. I just haven't been able to follow all the stories in the various books. I usually shop my comic store on Saturday, and by then all the special stuff is apparently gone!
These electric books remind me of when I first started collecting-- when comic were 12 or 15 cents a piece, and for 3 bucks you could get all that you wanted. It is jsut not economical for me to do it anymore, but this allows me a chance to read the stories at least, and that I all I really want to do now.
I've been digging Nova and the Guardians anyway, so this series is a great way of wrapping up what has been years of cosmic turmoil!
Still trying to catch up on the Green Lantern stuff as well... too many titles, too little time...

The Cosmic/Mystic stuff was always where my heart was as far as Marvel Comics were concerned so I'm glad that there's been a resurgance of interest in tis branch of the Marvel universe.
Now if only they'd give Adam Warlock his Soul Gem back.

Yeah The way he owned the Guard and Magique in particular was cool. Magique tends to get owned alot anyway. but Warlock put the ass in the whoopin on her this go around.
Just found out that Marvel is going to do another Series to complete this one. Realms of Kings.
