Official lakers vs mavs thread!!!!!!!

I already acknowledged that his numbers were down. He is also taking less shots per game so that affects his overall PPG numbers. But not down enough to put the blame on his shoulders solely. Kobe also has lowered offensive production in this series. However, I dont think his offensive production is the problem either.

Im telling you man...the problem is the perimeter defense.

 Perimeter defense is killing them.

yea i agree, Its not all gasol fault! Kobe's Fault, The whole team. Perimeter Defense and Trust! Bynum and Gasol were confused on a lot of plays

They have been looking slow all season on the perimeter...man..it became obvious to me when i watched the Christmas game against the heat...obviously it is difficult to defend james and wade on the perimeter, but I was shocked how slow they were on the perimeter. In every game I have watched where it got ugly for the lakers, it was mainly because of the inability to defned on the perimeter.

Yes, the struggle against quick PGs too...but that is just half of the problem... the heat struggle against quick PGs as well but their perimeter defense doesnt completely break down because of it..

and then Mavs are perfectly built to exploit that..

damn shame...because this is still a very good team..they have all of the pieces and havent slowed down enough to get swept out of the second round...now way...this team started after the all-star break like 24-1 :smh:

the rebounding difference between this year and last is also easily explained: last season he didn't have to compete for rebounds with andrew bynum for as many minutes per game.

andrew bynum's playoff rebounding is up 3.1 because of increased minutes played over last season.

pau gasol's playoff rebounding is down 3.3 compared to last season.

AMAZING how that work's out, isn't it?

fakers fans. :smh:

yeah man. The problems are obvious to me... but they always resort to the same shit...when the lakers lose...it is always: Gasol is soft, Fisher is old, and Odom is inconsistent... same ol shit...

TIME FOR THE SWEEEEEP

mavs thread!!!!!!!

coach brown just noted bad spacing, but really it was no motion due to watching the ball in the post.

Kobe in the air 15 ft from hoop with no where to go....
Can anyone really tell the exact point the ball leaves Shawn Marion's hands when he shoots? That shit is hella awkward, prolly more so than Ginobli's game

Kidd 17 years no ring. Hard to imagine with everything he's accomplished.

Kobe/westbrook need to pass to the real beasts Bynum/Durant

chandler like a piece of thread next to Andrew
