in Q1 they were gang rebounding because the celtics weren't paying attention to spacing the floor.

you can see all kinds of examples where the fakers had a 4-1 situation on the D glass.

Lakers need to come out in kill-mode. I expected the Celtics to come out with much more energy and intensity.... Lakers have a chance to steal this game and really the series right now

I don't get it. I'm wondering if all is out of the tank, because although they've had some inconsistant play thoughout the playoffs, they've been looking terrible throughout this series for the most part.

I haven't liked Doc's rotation either.
 
Lakeshow need to turn on the killer instinct....Boston looks like they know it's time to walk into the light.

celtics do look somewhat lethargic, but they are staying in the game with their D. as long as they play D, they will have a chance to win in Q4.

if they want to score more, they need to play more intelligently.

celtics have 44 FGAs but only a .409 FG%

fakers only have 35 FGAs, but shooting .486 FG%

truthfully, we're talking about a couple made FTAs, and this game has a different complexion.

fakers will come out with a strong Q3 surge, and it's up to the celtics to not only repel it, but also to play with tempo.
 
Why not put fish on rondo? If kobe just going to sag and dare rondo to shoot why not put fish on rondo and have fish dare rondo to shoot?

I agree. The lakers have to come out and impose their will on the celtics in Q3, playing smart but assertively. They need to win this game and I'm sure Coach Jackson is emphasizing this in the lockeroom.

On the flip side, if the celtics are able to win, they can put themselves in position to be up 3-2 headed back to LA. I think if they can win tonight, they'll have the advantage in Game 5 due to the extra day of rest that they'll have.

Hopefully the officiating isn't as bad (and biased for the away team) as it was in the 1st half.

Lakers have an opportunity and have to pick up the Intensity. This is Kobe time... Great players MJ, Magic, Bird, Zeke, Hakeem - this is killer instinct time.

If Celts win as u say, they put all the pressure on LA for Game 5

The problem for the Celtics on offense is not just missed layups (by my count, they have missed 8 easy layups).... the entire offense has defaulted into a one-on-one style of isolation on the wings because Rondo isnt being respected right now...thus is defender is sagging into the lane and clocking things up... bad spacing and very little ball movement.

Rondo (without speeding the pace up too much) will need to create points in transition OR he will need to shake the shit off and attack the basket.... he is the key to the offense since Boston is not shooting well from long range..

Lakers MUST REBOUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This puts a lot of pressure on Kobe, Odom now. boston may have caught a break
