There were bullshit calls on both sides. But there were 3 against the Lakers for every 1 of these.
That Gasol-Garnett replay takes the damn cake.
But seriously tho im with dude that gives Boston the credit for tieing the series. Allen did his part but Rondo was the game changer.
Bottom line tho is sometimes to prove you are the better team you have to play thru bullshit calls like this.
I still think its Lakers in 6 (unless Boston gets the next one).

I still say Lakers in 6. The Lakers have gotten used to the BS calls against them during the PHX series so they can get through this.

that was the match up in game 1 and the lakeshow ran away with the game. why phil decided to experiment and get away from that successful match up is anybody's guess. but that still doesn't explain the terrible officials calling the game. i mean they didn't seem qualified to call a ymca game between 9 and 10 year olds

That's true but in a three point game at 1:59 the ball was knocked out of bounds. It was called out on LA so Boston ball but the NBA put in instant replay for the last two minutes of a game to check if its a questionable call. Watching the replay, everyone can see that Garnett's hand was the last one to touch the ball before it went out of bounds but the refs still gave the ball to Boston.
Again, how do you have instant replay and still get the call wrong? Huge call that I can't even say was missed because all three refs got to see the replay and they still gave the ball to Boston.

LA is going to have their advantage inside ALL series. Boston's big men aren't going to get any taller.
So they need to keep it going that way constantly. Bynum played his ass off today. He got caught with a couple dumb fouls on his part, but he did far more good than bad. Pau Gasol was beasting, and if the refs were consistent with the way they were whistling he would have fouled out at least three of Boston's big men. Despite that he was still getting trips to the line.
They fucked it up in the fourth by not going into the paint at least SOME of the time. Shit! At least 1 out of ever 4 should have been doing outside, and it should have been 3 out of every 4 possessions should have been going in.
Even with that said, if they stepped up on the defensive end and rebounded stronger they would have won despite not taking advantage of their mismatches.
LA has to absolutely take game 3. Game 3 the Celtics will be favored heavily as it will be their first finals game at home, but LA has to exploit that short turnaround for them.
I also didn't like fisher flopping his way through all those screens against Ray Allen, because if you don't get the call you pretty much leave him open.
What's crazy is that Paul Pierce, KG, and Lamar Odom have yet to show up for the series.
