Official JUSTIFIED Discussion Thread UPDATE: They BACK new mini series! Justified: City Primeval

Bro I got nothing but faith with this crew.

Let's wait and see the results first.

That's Michigan dollars that is being spent in Illinois. And downtown Chicago looks VERY different between downtown Detroit. That is like shooting New York Undercover in Los Angeles.

I am BIASED LIKE A MOTHERFCUKER being from Detroit and as an old ass curmudgeon keeping the old Detroit/Chicago rivalry going this just enrages me. No doubt this will be good...I just LOATHE Chicago.

Justified: City Primeval bosses say 'all bets are off' in limited series: 'Raylan could die'

"If you're bringing Raylan back, you put him up against a really, really bad guy who doesn't have any problem killing people," showrunner Dave Andron says.

Outside of the filming being in Illinois even though it is based in Michigan, I gotta say I am also pretty upset that they aren't bringing back my wife Erica Tazel! Before ya'll start I realize she isn't in the story, I just wanted a reason to post this fine piece of heavenly chocolate here.

They got some cracker running around Detroit like hes some ol' Captain Murica.

Fuck outta here with this shit!

White people have such vivid imaginations. No wonder they are bat shit crazy.

I JUST finished reading two works the series is based on...

to read the same characters and Kentucky and almost all the stories in the book are included throughout each and every season:cool:

EXCELLENT go to to your local library, Amazon or the E-book board...

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

The way this show ignores the Chekhov's gun (see below if you're not familiar)principle is masterful. The show intentionally ignores low hanging fruit

In season 4, Jackie Nevada and Raylan were talking and as usual the dialogue just as if it was a smaller piece of a bigger Pizza and the bigger Pizza never shows up.

It does it in a way that you appreciate the smaller pizza and you don't even get mad at the fact that there is no bigger pizza coming. That's great fucking dialogue

This here...so good. It's the stories, man

Russian playwright Anton Chekhov famously introduced a principle that would later come to be known as “Chekhov's gun”: “if in the first act you have hung a pistol on the wall, then in the following one it should be fired.

this was s2 - now -remember what happens a few seasons later when Boyd goes to Mexico

I just stole - borrowed something from the end of season 4.

While they were waiting on the helicopter, Raylan said he used to love to read, yet another unexpected page in the Raylan Givens character book.

He said, "There's no Frigate like a book."

I looked it up and it's from an Emily Dickinson poem. Basically saying with books you can go farther than any ship can take you.

I came upstairs after watching that and put a mention of that in the novel I'm writing.

Dude has been one of my favorite actors for years, and while I was watching "Live Free Or Die Hard" this past weekend I figured out why. He does sarcasm extremely well, and I've been a sarcastic S.O.B. since Kindergarten.
This person is perfect for you (sorry about the thread interruption). She is one of my favorites. Brilliant woman, and a little firecracker
