Paul is a pure point. Rose is more dynamic. I wouldnt call him a better point but maybe an overall better player because he can give you just a bit more because of his athleticism...
and I just wonder about Paul..about his long term prospects because of that knee..
but in terms of being a pure point...rose cant compare because his assist to turnover ratio leaves a lot to be desired.

Look at Jason Kidd, he was supposed to be done years ago, but he's still a very good point guard. Chris Paul will be fine if he doesn't get injured further.
Also, I think he can be very effective. He'll lose his speed, but he won't lose his court vision and basketball IQ. He's never been a defender that shuts you down because of his size or strength, but the way he defends which he doesn't rely on athleticism, but anticipation.
