but ive posted enough in this thread for one evening you have a good one

In a loss vs a team with no defense in a game where you play no defense go 12 for 38 and blow a the game tying lay up...:smh: This has got to be the worst triple double 39 point game in the history of the nba.. Even TNT is roasting his overrated ass right now...

One of the two teams I think will give the Cavs problems in the playoff if they match up...Hawks being the other.

Cavaliers-Pacers Preview
STATS LLC

The wins keep coming for LeBron James and the surging Cleveland Cavaliers, who just got by the NBA's best team.

While they've proven nearly unbeatable over the last six weeks, one of their two defeats during that time came in Indianapolis.

Seeking a 19th win in 21 games, Cleveland will likely be without Kyrie Irving as it tries to avoid a 10th consecutive road loss to the Indiana Pacers on Friday night.

The Cavs (37-22) have outscored opponents by an average of 19.0 points in winning each of their four games since the break, including an impressive 110-99 victory over Golden State on Thursday. James had a season-high 42 points to go with 11 rebounds and Irving scored 24 as Cleveland climbed back into first place in the Central Division.

"We're not trying to send a message, just trying to improve every time we get an opportunity to come out on the floor and play," said James, who shot 15 of 25 for his best display in 14 games. "We've been doing some good things the last couple months, but we still have a lot of room to improve and hopefully we can continue that."

Irving exited with a shoulder issue in the third quarter before returning, but he will not travel with the team and is listed as doubtful.

James also gave fans a scare after briefly headed to the locker room with his backed wrapped in the second, but he didn't appear to be very limited down the stretch.

"If (James) plays like that with a sore back, imagine how well he'll play when he doesn't have a sore back," coach David Blatt said.

Cleveland has only been beaten twice since Jan. 15, falling 103-99 at Indiana on Feb. 6 and 113-98 at Chicago on Feb. 12. The Cavs' loss to the Pacers snapped a season-high 12-game winning streak and extended their skid in Indianapolis to nine, a stretch during which they've been outscored by an average of 11.1 points.

Cleveland took this season's first meeting 109-97 on Nov. 29, and Pacers coach Frank Vogel knows his team will have its hands full Friday.

"They're a great opponent, they're playing at a very, very high level," Vogel said. "Best player in the world, couple others that are close to being the best players in the world, and they're starting to gel. ... Obviously we're going to have to play great to beat them."

Tied with Detroit at the bottom of the Central, the Pacers (23-34) are coming off Tuesday's 105-92 loss at Oklahoma City. C.J. Miles scored 21 points to lead four players in double figures, but Indiana was outrebounded 57-48 and outscored 23-7 in transition.

"I think we just have to tighten the screws in those areas," said Vogel, whose team entered having won three straight and six of its previous seven.

Miles is dealing with two sore feet and missed Thursday's practice, but it sounds like he should be good to go. Miles, who spent the previous two seasons with Cleveland, led the way 26 points against the Cavs earlier this month while David West and George Hill added 20 apiece.

West is averaging just 7.7 points on 39.3 percent shooting over the last three games.

The Cavs are 35-9 when James scores at least 18 points. He had 25 in the Feb. 6 defeat while Irving finished with 29.

Cleveland has compiled an 8-7 record on the second of back-to-backs.

ESPN just put up a list of the NBA top players in the MVP running it it occured to me that if the Cavs beat the Rockets LeBron would be undefeated vs everybody on that list, Curry, Harden, Westbrook, Gasol and Paul...
And it seems like they are almost lobbying against him winning it, everytime they talk about him missing games they are now saying he took off, discrediting his injuries to his leg and back... He is the only player I know that they doubt being injured, no one ever questioned Rose, Durant and Westbrook when they were out... Instead of them playing the angle that LeBron attempted to play even when injured they all seem to choose to take the slant him by suggesting (real subtle) that he took time off as some sort of advantage...
I am very sensitive to shit like this because this snide shit is how white people operate, and when I hear black folks on the sports media doing that shit, makes me wonder if they are being directed to follow orders...

Now on espn they are saying that James is 4th or 5th in the mvp vote only because he doesn't need mvp trophies..:smh: What player in the history of sports has ever been held at such regards, I mean they did it to Jordan one year, and they been known to screw players over here and there, but to blatantly say he doesn't deserve it basically for being too good..:smh:

We always want fresh and newer ...they did that to Jordan giving Malone back to back MVPs when no one in the NBA was on the same level.

Lebron is the alpha ....the rest are betas

I hate these fucking back-to-back games at Indiana. Seems like this just happened last week. And then @ Houston on Sunday. Kyrie is having an MRI. :smh:

Yea back to backs are rough...LBJ normally play pretty good in the 2nd game of back to backs.

Kyrie is doubtful tonight

Shit this might work in Lebron's fans and haters favor...

He might just put on for his city...

Last night was a statement game, ok y'all got curry as MVP along with the warrior being the team to beat....ok I got y'all!!!

I understand them doing it one season, with Rose or even twice with Durant, but what they are doing this year is really pathetic, they are doing shows at the halfway mark of the season on James, complete with live audiences in from the Bay area (the home of Curry) cheering... When you have a debate, there is usually a side then a counter argument, what they do is have one guy with one argument against vs a guy who is a known anti LeBron troll..:smh:
Not one guy in the media other than Avery Johnson has the guts to even mention anything positive about LeBron...
Even Shaq, Barkley and Smith at halftime yesterday game, went on and on about how the Cavs had no chance of winning the game at halftime and they were up and should have been up by ten.. But instead they went on talking about what the warriors was doing right and what the Cavs should be doing.. Meanwhile I, a so called non professional (and a guy who seldom makes halftime predictions) saw the game totally different and predicted almost to the point how the Cavs was going to win and how much... This was no guess either, it was based on what I observed on the floor.
By the 3rd quarter they mentioned at least 4 times that this was not a statement game, trying to down play the James vs Crry angle practically labeling as a cute win for the Cavs and nothing more. Last game the Cavs lost to the Bulls the headline read, Rose dominates Irving, no where in the news was there any mention of James dominating the front runner of the mvp or his other splash brother.
But yall know what would have been said and written if that shit was in reverse.. Picture Curry and the Warriors doing that to the Cavs led by LeBron..

The only games the Cavs lost in this run was on a back to back vs a bigger physical team after a big emotional victory...

I totally agree with everything you typed here... except the race card at the end. The Hate Card maybe, but it's hard to play the race card when only 1 1/2 of the people they are lobbying against LeBron for are non black. I think its more of the fact that the League and Media would like a new fresh face representing the best in the League for that season is all...

Its not just a race thing, LeBron has a lot of Knicks haters, folks trying to preserve the legacy of Kobe and Jordan, and on top of that you have the race angel where he suffers from the Obama effect, a black intelligent clean cut black, with a black wife and positive black family getting more hate than a ignorant dead beat black guy.. I know for a fact that the one thing racist hate most is a alpha black man that makes them feel inferior, and the same flack Jordan and Bonds got when they are playing, LeBron is getting now..
This is not just about James, this is a pattern that if you look back in history has plagued top black dominating players, something that white players never experience..

Weren't we saying that since 2010 when Bron left Cleveland? What changed?

Just heard on local sports talk that Kyrie's MRI revealed a sprained shoulder. No telling when he will return. This could be Lebron's MVP stand right here. Of course, Love is going to have to step up his fucking game without Irving out. He can't just be a role player now.

If they beat the Rockets with out Irving and LeBron zips the list of mvp's this year, and destroying the front runner on national tv doubling up his points in a decisive victory, if they still don't give it to him, they may as well name the mvp the mpop instead, or the most popular offensive player award.

I think LeBron deep rooted hate may stand from the fact that he is poised to becoming one of the most dangerous "all around" black athlete ever..
Now before you roll your eyes and say RR is on that shit again, hear my argument out in full, first let me present a list of some of the greatest black athletes over the past 40 years, and let me list what they brought to the table over the years..

Wilt= Very dominate, very active in civil black affairs, wasn't that corp or business minded, marginal at best in league labor rights...

Russel=Almost identical to Wilt

Kareem= ditto......

Ali= Had a hand in everything but no so much the black family or his family, and lacked business savvy (like the others above less opportunities also).

Aaron= Quiet not too active in civil rights , not that business oriented, or political in any sense..

Mays= Same as Aaron..

Dr. J = Not too involved in anything other than the court.

Magic = Business master mind, some league union activity, marginal civil rights activity, his family life in question with the hiv smear..

Jordan = Business mastermind, very little to do with blacks or anybody else, more of a selfish guy, gambling smear to his legacy..

Kobe = Like Jordan but has the rape smear..

Tiger= great business guy, but no association or attention towards blacks..

Now compare them to LeBron

Very involved with labor negotiations and goes one step further of getting paid while practically having a leg up on team ownership.. He is also a business mastermind, he is well spoken and knows how to be pc yet he is very subtle and masterful of infusing the civil rights and rights of blacks, his family life is almost flawless, with a strong black wife and children who seem to be following in his footsteps, he not only came strait out of h.s. but he breaks the stereo type that you can be a great player who can play fundamental basketball with out a great white coach, as his mentor... He is humble, team oriented, a great leader, funny, and doesn't fit into too many type cast and stereo types..

In short he is white america nightmare... They love black people with flaws, or with out business sense, folks that don't know how to hold a decant intelligent conversation especially one who is so grateful towards coach (fill in the cac name) for giving him the opportunity to turn him into a great player..
With LeBron, there is none of that, only his blackness and only his intelligent mind..
I bet you they see him as the spook who sat by the door, or a black who can one day destroy their white run system from the inside out..

By no stretch of the imagination am I suggesting that this is James intention nor am I suggesting that he can even do it if he tried, all I am saying is that the potential is there and even if he doesn't try, at least he is drawing out the blue print on how it can be done... And if I can see it, I am sure that the NBA head honchos are also taking note, and must be shaking in their boots.
.
I've heard on several occasions that some believe that LeBron has something up his sleeve with the new contract on the horizon and there is already talk about him changing the way contracts and how players can take more control over their situations...
To me this is the source of all his hate, and conversely it is also the root of my support for him...

Saw somewhere CJ miles might not play

RR great breakdown ...there is an unconscious disdain for black people in our culture. That disdain is amplified for paradigm changing black men.

You can listen to sports TV and radio all week and hear mostly negative commentary on Lebron ...that is subconscious anti black hatred. The guy hasn't done anything criminal or anti social

but ive posted enough in this thread for one evening you have a good one

I criticized Westbrook alot but can't front. He is having an outstanding year. I think his next step is to learn to shoot higher quality shots. His shot selection has improved a lot tho.

LeBron James (back) will not play against the Pacers on Friday night.
"Just forward thinking on my part," coach David Blatt said. In other words, it sounds like a maintenance day. LeBron did have some back problems against the Warriors on Thursday and he was also on the injury report back in January because of it. He has been absolutely magnificent since the break, posting a 38.3 usage rate with a 59.6 true shooting percentage. With LeBron and Kyrie Irving out, Kevin Love should have a lot on his plate. J.R. Smith is also going to have a greener light than usual. Shawn Marion will likely start, but he's not a great fantasy option. Feb 27 - 5:40 PM

LeBron James (rest) will not play against Indiana. The Cavs will also be without Kyrie Irving (L shoulder strain).

This will be LeBron's 11th game missed this season. Cleveland is 2-8 without him so far.

Absolutely correct decision to rest LeBron tonight. Team in midst of 7 games in 10 days. Long-term thinking from Cavs.

No LeBron tonight. Man, Gods in favor of Pacers this week. This is becoming as close to must win as they get in late February.

Brett Pollakoff @BrettEP now
Adam Silver again discussed looking at ways to reduce wear on players. On Popovich resting 4 stars: "Maybe he's right." #SSAC15

Shit don't know if love will but JR and Dell picked up the slack in the first quarter

You mean they did it to Jordan 4 years... (89, 90, 93, 97) with 97 being the most obviously because statically he had the better year between him and Karl Malone PLUS Dennis Rodman only played 55 games that season and they STILL won 69 games. not only the very best by a large margin that year, but the 2nd best win total of all time...

They legit said they gave it to Malone because they was tired of giving it to MJ.

Now with the way and criteria on how they give out the MVP award over the last 30+ years, this season, Lebron does Not deserve it over Steph or Harden. Not even close.

Calm the dick sucking down RoadRage.
