Blow this lead and niggas going ham

Kyrie bitch ass passing the rock we will see how long that last lmao

I think whomever convincing Waiters to become the first sub off the bench...

It's helping out the second unit, plus allowong him be more than a catch and shot/ spot up shooter

If Irving was to kick that ball out to Miller, everytime he drives, they would have a three point shot every time... They will not get to the next level until they figure that out..

Put Waiters on the bench, and he is giving himself the green light. He will work the offense if you start him and Kyrie isn't on his shit. He has proven that in the past.

Glad to see Kyrie only took 11 fucking shots. Lebron still doubling him up in assists.....

 I could barely sit through the games the last 4 years....I'd be definitely talking to myself in this bitch..maybe RR would have been in here.....

Dawg I don't think folks understand what you went they over the years, but I give you props for holding it together mentally after last year. Folks comparing about Kyrie now, imagine that ninja without Love, Lebron with Mike Brown as coach.

When they hired Mike Brown again.....  And Kyrie was running shit until the GM was fired. New GM came in and tried to lay the law down. Basically said Kyrie was on the block too....Came into the locker room and told everyone they could fuck off....

Last year was supposed to he playoffs -- even with Mike Brown.

Real talk, I made a Nuggets thread last year and I think like maybe 4 people responded the entire season and one of those times was right after we got our ass whooped by the Nets and D Town bumped that shit just to tell me, "y'all ass"

Every team does not deserve a thread no matter how much of a fan you are.

LeBron James' double-double leads Cavs to second win
Associated Press

DENVER -- Now this is more along the lines of what LeBron James had in mind.

Cleveland moved the ball around to James' satisfaction and held off the Denver Nuggets 110-101 on Friday night.

Sure, there is plenty of work still left to do, but this performance pleased James. Very much, even.

"We were in tune defensively from the beginning and ... sharing the ball," James said. "We were locked in. I was very pleased with that."

The shooting? Maybe not so much.

James had 22 points and 11 assists on a poor shooting night for Cleveland's Big Three. James, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving were a combined 19-of-45.

But the Cavs showed off their depth, with seven players scoring in double figures in their only win on a three-game road trip.

"We stressed (ball movement)," James said. "We were like, `Let's get the ball moving from side to side. Let's get the best shot, not a good shot, the best shot."

For the most part, the Cavaliers did just that. They wound up with 25 assists two nights after the team tied a franchise record with just six in a loss at Utah.

"We're going to get better at that as we begin to use our offense more properly and as we begin to recognize the benefit of not holding the ball," coach David Blatt said.

Randy Foye scored 28 points for the Nuggets (1-4), who have dropped four in a row. Denver played without speedy point guard Ty Lawson after he was scratched due to a sore left ankle.

Nate Robinson started out strong in Lawson's place, but didn't play at all in the fourth quarter since his minutes were maxed out. Robinson isn't supposed to play more than 20 minutes in his recovery from a torn ACL. He was on the floor for 25:49 against the Cavs and scored 14 points.

"That's tough playing against a team like them and the guys that they have," Robinson said. "It's something that we have to learn from."

Splitting time at point guard with Irving, James looked determined to get everyone involved, passing up shots in order distribute the ball. He will see more time at the point until Matthew Dellavedova returns from a sprained knee.

"The biggest mismatch we could get was when he (LeBron) was handling it and drawing the switch," Blatt said. "The ball's going to be in his hands a great deal, and it'll certainly be in his hands at money time. That's what he does."

After leading by as many as 21 in the third quarter, the Cavs took their foot off the accelerator and the Nuggets pounced.

They trimmed the lead to six on a jumper by Wilson Chandler with 4:30 remaining. But then Dion Waiters had a steal and a dunk, followed by a jumper, to increase Cleveland's advantage.

Irving finished with 12 points and six assists. He had 34 points and no assists in the loss to the Jazz.

Earlier this week, James wrote on his Twitter account for everyone to "relax." The message was in response to talk about Cleveland's slow start.

The Cavaliers (2-3) certainly played relaxed -- at least early on. Although, it suddenly got tight when the game appeared to be turning into a rout.

At the morning shootaround, James dismissed reports that he and Irving recently got into a heated disagreement. James said the two are simply trying to get on the same page.

"We're two dynamic players and it's coming along well, I believe," James said.

FRIGHTFUL FALL

Things got a little rough with 4.4 seconds left in the first quarter, when Darrell Arthur smacked Waiters as he went in for a layup. Waiters stayed down for several minutes.

Arthur was called for a flagrant-2 foul and his night was finished.

"It was very scary," James said. "He'll feel it on the plane. He'll feel it tomorrow for sure."

TIP-INS

Cavaliers: Asked if the team might be in the market for another backup point guard, Blatt said: "We're not looking for anyone else at this moment, not that I know of anyway." ... Love had 19 points and eight rebounds.

Nuggets: J.J. Hickson served the last of a five-game suspension for violating the terms of the league's anti-drug program. ... Danilo Gallinari is finding his shooting touch. He was 3-for-6 from the field, making two 3-pointers, and finished with 10 points. Gallinari is returning to the court after missing nearly 18 months with a knee injury.

UP NEXT

Cavaliers: Host New Orleans on Monday.

Nuggets: Visit Portland on Sunday.

Good move tho having him come off the bench. That second unit looks way better and the rotations are working to where one of the big 3 are on the court at all times. They can keep him in line but when he gets the ball he shooting... Dude definitely subscribes to the Carmelo Anthony n Kobe Bryant school of thought...

And as far as Bron doubling Irving on assists I'm not mad at that. Irving is too much of an offensive threat to be bottled into a pass first point guard. That's not his game. But LeBron is so unselfish..... That's his game. Having LeBron take more of the point guard role and letting Irving attack and dish or attack and score is in my opinion increases their chances of success

Waiters and Irving are very similar on the offensive scoring end. The bench was lacking a spark so separating the two made sense to start the game.

Starters:

Irving
Marion
James
Love
Andy

First sub at 5min mark of the 1st:

Waiters
Marion/Miller
James
Love
Thompson

Now your subbing but keep the rotation tight for the start of the 2nd.
These might become the biggest adjustments made.
Kyrie, Waiters and Lebron wasn't gonna keep fucking up the ball movement, eventually they would start passing the ball and moving offensively.

Once Love start hitting his shot, the offense will look really really good.
If Kevin can get his average up to 50+ plus %...they will be tough!!!
(The reason why I'm saying this is because his lookst from deep seem to be wide open)

Vs NY *6/14 42.9%, *3/6 50% 14 rebs
vs CHi 5/17 29.2 %, 1/6 16% 16 rebs
@ Port *7/14 50 %, 5/8 62 % 10 rebs
@ Utah 2/10 20%, 1/5 20% 8 rebs
@ Den 6/16 37.5%, 0/5 0%, 8 rebs

Your spot in with your thoughts on Irving's and Lebron's skills...
It don't hurt Lebron be a passer, nor does it hurt letting Irving channel his inner Uncle Drew at times.

Cleveland will be ok because they play in the Least.

They're pretty much guaranteed a trip to the Eastern Conference finals.

Their real problem is defense, I can't see that ever improving.

If Lebron's unselfishness rubs off on Irving and Waiters, this team will be a beast. But you're right, this team can work with Lebron running the point and Irving basically being a 2. Lebron will definitely get everyone involved and in the game.

Waiters and the Aussie work well together when they started last year(too bad the Aussie is hurt now). It will just take time to see where Waiters' head is at coming off the bench.

Ray Allen should be closer to deciding...

Dellavedova Out 4-6 Weeks With Sprained MCL
Nov 09, 2014 3:33 PM EST
Matthew Dellavedova experienced a left knee injury during the fourth quarter of the Cleveland Cavaliers game at the Portland Trailblazers on Tuesday.

Dellavedova was out for the remaining two games of the Cavaliers road trip this past week in Utah and Denver.

After returning to Cleveland, he received additional evaluation by Cavaliers Head Team Physician Dr. Richard Parker at Cleveland Clinic Sports Health. The results confirmed a left knee MCL sprain. He is undergoing a period of treatment and rehabilitation and is currently projected to be out four to six weeks. His status will be updated as appropriate.

Will the LeBron James Stimulus Be Good for Cleveland?

09Economy-articleLarge.jpg

When LeBron James announced his return to the Cleveland Cavaliers in July, fans celebrated by hanging banners, getting drunk and digging old jerseys out of purgatory. They ran into the streets, honked horns and hugged strangers. And some of them started trying to figure out just how much money was about to rain down on Cleveland. According to one estimate, the return of the “king,” as James is known, will add $500 million a year to the city’s economy. “When people say this is just about an athlete making money, there’s more to it than that,” said Edward FitzGerald, the Cuyahoga County executive, at a news conference devoted to the anticipated windfall. “Other people will make a living.”

James is certainly a good investment for the Cavaliers, who will probably cover his $20.6 million salary just from increased ticket sales. The last season James played in Cleveland, after all, the Cavs sold every available regular-season seat at an average price of $55.95, earning about $47 million. Last season, the Cavaliers sold just 84 percent at an average price of just $43.31, for a decline of $16 million. This year, season tickets sold out the day James announced his return, and demand is so overwhelming that the team is raffling the remaining single-game tickets so that everyone in Cleveland has a fair chance. Everything else is gravy: playoff games, sponsorships, jersey sales and the team’s local broadcast rights, serendipitously scheduled for renegotiation at the end of next season.

What FitzGerald and some other Cleveland boosters envision, though, is a LeBron stimulus that enriches the city as a whole. Start, for example, with the restaurants along East Fourth Street, near the arena, whose business dropped significantly after James bolted for Miami. Scalpers are happy, too, and owners of nearby stores that sell T-shirts and jewelry also expect sales to pick up. To get that $500 million estimate, LeRoy Brooks, an emeritus professor of finance at John Carroll University, just outside Cleveland, assumed that all these people making more money will spend it in Cleveland, multiplying the James effect. Brooks told me he now thinks James will add between $163 million and $426 million to the regional economy. He said that he made the first estimate in haste, “on the day after my first grandson was born.” FitzGerald’s staff estimated a more modest bounce. The LeBron stimulus, they concluded, could reach $285 million, including the creation of about 550 new jobs.

Certain individuals have changed a city’s fortunes. John D. Rockefeller helped to drive Cleveland’s rise as an industrial power. Bill Gates sparked Seattle’s high-tech transformation. Dan Gilbert, the founder of Quicken Loans and owner of the Cavs, has purchased a large chunk of downtown Detroit, which he is slowly renovating and repopulating.

That's probably Ryan Anderson, that mutherfucker is wet...

Last year when I talking about, if the Heat would've traded bosh, they should've contacted the Pelicans
about Ryan Anderson and Robin Lopez...

They would've had the stretch four(that the wanted bosh to be), plus a rim defender...
Cats thought I was fucking crazy, but that shit would've had the fucking deadly...

Anderson tough inside also...

Just got home...how the first half look for those who watching the game...
