Maybe this will get Boots more fights
Boots don't want to K.O. dude, this fight should've been over by now.
Right, boots will definitely get knockout by those other fighter who have power in their punches.Karen has hit Boots like 8/9 times clean across the chin this past round and Boots didn't seem fazed at all......
But damn, that's still not a good look. A more competent fighter would take advantage of those defensive lapses and actually hurt Boots
Yeah, he needs to move up...its time...lots of killers at 154...and he will get fights
I get why he tries so hard for the KO...that brings the hype and the money...but lets get the defensive discipline up
People either always lose or look shaky once they go to Eddie Hearn for some reason LOL
Can't get hit flush that much against Ortiz
I think if he fights that kind of fight with Virgil he would be playing right into Ortiz handsBoots did take a lot of shots tonight.
Finally showed some vulnerability, but that's the fight game.
He showed he's got a really good chin.
Boots vs Virgil is gonna be epic.
They might break the compubox record for punches thrown.

Deontay Wilder Ready To Begin Talks W/ Francis Ngannou About Super Fight
It seems a Deontay Wilder vs. Francis Ngannou super fight might actually happen ... 'cause the Bronze Bomber tells TMZ Sports he's down to begin negotiations now.www.tmz.com
I don't think AJ took him seriously at the time, and there wasn't quite the same money in it as AJ's other offers.Title days are over. Exhibition fighter now.
Great money in it no doubt with the right matchups.
People still wanna see him and AJ. They should have done it when the stakes were highest.

Or maybe AJ did "fear" that right hand......

Nunn gassed out. He was giving Toney the business until he got tired. Nunn was a huge middleweight who stayed at 160 one fight too long.James Toney and that Philly Shell/shoulder roll was vicious... a rope a dope without taking unnecessary punches
Nunn gassed out. He was giving Toney the business until he got tired. Nunn was a huge middleweight who stayed at 160 one fight too long.
Nunn was totally in control until the 3rd maybe 4th round...... things started taking a turn in the 4th. That's when he started "running" and using his feet more. Once he did that his volume of punches started going down......and he was in for a long fight.
Just off eyesight, in rds 1-4 if Nunn threw 3-4 punches he was hitting Toney at least 2 times, sometimes he hit Toney with all 3-4.
Then in rds 5-8th it looked like he was throwing 2-3 punches and hitting him once maybe twice....
While not a big difference, Toney started to take advantage. Toney won most rounds between 6-10, to me. (Out of those 5, I gave him 4 of them, but he was still down bad in the cards)
I think it was rd 8 or 9 where Nunn stunned Toney, but he couldn't capitalize on the moment and hit him with a flurry of punches......
In rds 9-11 there were times Nunn threw 5-6 punches and connected 0 times, then other times his punches landed on the shoulder and did no real damage to Toney.
The decrease in punches, the lack of endurance/ stamina and the culmination of all those rounds of Toney landing on the body set up the KnockDown and eventual TKO in the 11th....
