DAZN sucks.
The fighters are getting paid handsomely, but they're getting buried on an app with no exposure.
Even ESPN refuses to cover their events because its direct competition with their app.

I bet the numbers are terrible, and DAZN is private so they don't have to release information.

I was somewhat interested at 9.99...to double to your rate in less than a year reeks of Moviepass-level desperation.

That old fucker Barry Hearn strikes again. You get him comfortable with a mic in his face and he'll tell a truth. :smh:

Just because of the love of pugilism, and they do have some interesting mid tier fights, I like watching Jaime Mungia, Prograis, Josh Kelly, Naoya Inoue and Josh Taylor. I went ahead and got on before they upped the price so I'm grandfathered in. Unlike ESPN+, I do like how you can rewind. DAZN does have the middle weight division sewed up though. However, after this Canelo v Jacobs fight I'm thinking about canceling since GGG ain't interested in fighting nobody named Andrade, Saunders or Charlo.

They just signed Devin Haney too. I'm glad the fighters are getting generational money but that's about 250.00 a year for mostly crappy fights. When you can watch them 5 minutes later for free on YouTube, I don't see how this is sustainable.

Yep, but people criticized Al Haymon's business model.

I mean the fights are on YouTube minutes afterward if you can't get a good live stream so no need to pay. Most of the fights are crappy and just time fillers. I don't see the need to pay for their service but I sho will watch for free.

Oliver Mccall is making a comeback at 54 years old. He is fighting May 10th

So I'm hearing Danny Jacobs didn't make weight this morning.

What a hefty fine he'll have to pay. Either way, I wish him the best.

Oh well I'll have to join this DAZN bullshit for a month to see this Canelo vs Jacobs Fight
I better get a month with some decent rumbles scraps for my money
