I really believe what Ward said about Kov drinking too much. This looks like purely a case of discipline catching up with non discipline in terms of conditioning.

Here is another area where Duva fucked up. Kovalev basically fought Ward on his terms for both fights. (Including taking this one for no purse money) He should have done that with Stevenson, unified the belts and he would have had more leverage negotiating with Ward which was the bigger fight.
 
I'm more mad at the promoters. I had no idea the fight was even on.

Who the hell is Wards promoter? I literally saw and heardNOTHING about this fight, and ended up missing it.

Would have paid for the ppv too. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Roc Nation and you're right I didn't see any commercials or anything for this fight. You have the two best pound-for-pound fighters in the world and they literally get no attention

I saw the video last week when the og turner said Ward was ordinary but you could tell he didnt mean it. But none of kovs black team members will be back. Its obvious there was a huge division between the black team members and the Russians. Im wondering if them mofos couldnt stomach the disrespect (possibly racism) any longer.

This combined with the JDJ bullshit tells me everything I need to know about Kovalev's camp.

Don't think I haven't noticed that Russian fighters have taken an L in almost every major fight against black fighters in the last few years. (GGG got a gift decision against Jacobs)

They had commercials on ESPN. Especially during that Lakers/Celtics 30 for 30 special.
