LOL...announcer must do better....Jacobs won but its pretty clear he wasn't feeling it...he looked bad relative to expectations

For the Dubois/Joyce fight tomorrow. Make sure your ad-blockers are one.

Dubois look tired as hell...Joyce really is as slow as advertised...i think a body shot then one up top will take out Joyce but not sure if Dubois can put the combo together

Props to Joyce for the win, but meh performance. This fight told me more about Dubois than it did Joyce.

At 35, Joyce needs to step it up at start fighting title contenders...Now.

Dubois was out of his depth...bad cut, was breathing hard from the 3rd round, no setup combos to get closer...all new to him....good learning experience...he can come back but either the stamina or the skills gotta step up

That was horrible. I can't believe Joyce is an Olympic medalist, says a lot about boxing today.

I can't understand the rationale of making the fight. You could have kept making money with both of them fighting tomato cans.

Would've been interesting fight if Joyce fought Ortiz like they talked about

It was clear then, and crystal clear now why Joyce and his team never pursued that fight after Ortiz told Joyce to send the contract.

He isn't ready for Ortiz. And at 35 he probably never will be.

I hear ya, but I'm glad the fight got made. Like you said, the outcome was awful, but I like the idea of 2 guys not afraid of losing their 0's, and not being content with padding their records. Throwing Dubois in with a guy like Joyce was a solid test, and depending on how Dubois looked had he won, you would know how ready (or not) he is for top-15'ish competition.

I was pulling for Dubois, because he is very young and has looked promising thus far (albeit against cans). But after this fight? Yeeeesh....He and his team have a lot of work to do *if* he chooses to continue fighting.

You’re right. I forgot what’s it like to see undefeated fight each other this early in their career. It’s a novel concept today.

Mike is so old HE might go down as well :( Roy's chin is weaker than Mikes but he's STILL fast..and Fast punches Hurt when not blocked:smh:
