Interesting episode.

It was obvious with the scenes with Kim and Jimmy that she is not gonna get killed. It’s looking more like they are going to go their separate ways next season. When we saw Jimmy at Mikes house he stated that if anything happened to Kim it would devastate him. His behavior in B.B. was upbeat which means she is still alive somewhere in the BB years.

LaLo was like El Chapo in his house. That tunnel was slick.

And Nacho, it’s going to be interesting to see how his story plays out.

Anybody catch that commercial with Giancarlo Esposito in that new AMC series “Creepshow”?

They made a reference to his character Gus. It was funny.

with each passing ep i wanna :fucking:Kim more n more....

she`s lookin good for almost 48 ...May12th ...

no kids n not married tho ...makes u wonder...lol

lalo and nacho have grown on me i'm liking them better than gus, hector, and mike

i don't like how they are setting up that kim was the puppetmaster behind the scenes of saul in BB
his behavior in that series doesn't make sense if he went home to kim every night

'Better Call Saul' Ending With Season 6 on AMC

The transformation of Jimmy McGill into Saul Goodman has an end date.

AMC will bring Better Call Saul to a close with a 13-episode sixth and final season in 2021. Season five of the Breaking Bad prequel from Sony Pictures TV is set to premiere Feb. 23.

"From the beginning when we started this, I think all our hopes and dreams were to be able to tell the whole story ... and make it to be a complete story from beginning to end," showrunner Peter Gould revealed Thursday during the show's panel at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour. "We're going to try like hell to stick the landing of these 63 episodes."
The official word comes months after Giancarlo Esposito, who has starred on both series, said in an interview that the plan was for Saul to go for six seasons. Sources told The Hollywood Reporter at the time that no endgame had been set.

Greenlighting a prequel to one of the most iconic series in television history is one of the boldest swings that AMC has ever taken. But, thanks to the creative genius of [co-creators] Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, it has also been one of the most rewarding,” said Sarah Barnett, president of AMC Networks Entertainment Group and AMC Studios. "It has been an absolute joy to collaborate with the extraordinarily talented team on Better Call Saul, which — five seasons in — continues to deliver some of the best storytelling and most beautifully nuanced performances on television today. We congratulate Vince, Peter, our producers, writers and cast on a remarkable run and look forward to sharing this final chapter with fans.”

Saul's 13-episode final season will put it one episode ahead of its parent show, which ran for five seasons — the latter of which was broken in two and aired a year apart — and 62 episodes from 2008-13. Saul will finish with 63.

Unfortunately I doubt we see season 6 before 2022 due to the COVID-19 lock down unless they started filming prior which is unlikely.

creepshow been on shudder app for awhile.

Lalo wins that.
Walter won because it was his show. In actual non dramatized situations Jessee cooks for Gus. Walter dies in a hail of bullets coming out of the car wash.
Walt beat Gus because Gus underestimated Walter and let him hang around.
Lalo/ pre stroke Hector would kill Walt the first time he ran his mouth
Don Eladio would kill Jesse in front of Walt
Nacho's car is the shit

so they not going to show the superlab being finished? Lalo probably gonna get a spin-off show. and then get killed in that version that will also overlap with Breaking Bad. in that show they can get into the Fring Chile back story.

Lalo Salamanca has been a great addition to the series in seasons 4 & 5. Always a scene stealer.

Gonna look into checking out more of his work over time ...

Tony Dalton studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in New York City.[when?][2] During that time, he acted in small Off-Broadway productions of The Ballad of the Sad Café, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and A Streetcar Named Desire. His first film was Matando Cabos (2004), in which he starred and co-wrote the screenplay. He also acted in and wrote the script for Sultanes del Sur (2007). Dalton's other film credits include Love, Pain and Vice Versa (2008); Amar (2009); and La Dictadura Perfecta (2014). His theater credits include a Mexico City production of Same Time, Next Year by Bernard Slade, which ran for over 200 performances in 2011. In 2016, he appeared onstage in the role of Paul Zara in Beau Willimons' Faragut North. On television, he had roles in HBO's Capadocia (2008) and in Los Simuladores, which was nominated for an Emmy in 2010 for Best International Series. In 2017, he played the lead in the HBO series Sr. Ávila, which won the International Emmy award for Best Non-English Language Series. In 2018, Dalton landed the role of Lalo Salamanca in Better Call Saul, first appearing in the Season 4 episode "Coushatta".[3]

DVR/TiVo Alert

AMC is having a Season 5 marathon on July 9th starting at 9am Pacific.

They plan on having some of the actors come on thru-out the marathon to give insight on the episodes.

In the tv promo they kind of hinted there might be hints for the Season 6 which is the last season.

I recorded and FF thru the marathon episodes the other night before going to bed.

It was hosted by Bob Odenkirk and Rhea Seehorn.

They had small monologue bits thru-out the marathon that were routinely repeated. The actor who plays Nacho and the actor who plays Mike came on to give insight on their characters and series. The Excutive Producer and creator came on a couple of times to give insight on the show.

The last two episodes had a couple of bits with Bob and Rhea discussing the show.

They talked and said they will have answer a fan question. Bryan Cranston popped up pretendingto be a fan and asked the question "Will Walter be in the show". Bob and Rhea looked at each other for a few seconds and then smiled. Rhea then talked about it would be nice to see other characters and they showed DEA Agents Hank andSteven from a episode of BCS. Rhea did mention about Jesse.

So it looks like the Easter Eggs were Walter and Jesse will show up at some point in the Final Season. It makes sense with Jesse being he knew of Saul prior to hooking up with Walter. It will be interesting to see how Walt is brought on.

Bob Odenkirk has producer and writing credit with “The Simpsons”

He has a long resume as producer, director, writer and actor.

It's great to see how well BCS has been received. Many other established shows or networks would have gone the easier route and done some shitty spinoff / sequel. They went and created a legit prequel for a series that had already received critical acclaim. And thankfully they didn't mess it up.

I would have loved to see Lalo vs. Walter White (in his later, more sinister "Heisenberg" years.)

Why would they be against each other? if anything, Lalo would be running the Mexican super lab that Tuco tried to send Walt and Jesse to back in season 2.

I don't know about that.

one of the biggest flaws of better call Saul is that the characters look far older than they're supposed to especially Mike and Gus.

It would make sense for them to get season 6 in the can as soon as possible.

Not sure if these were posted, I wasnt about to go page by page to check.

If a repost....oh well.

Bob Odenkirk rushed to hospital after collapsing on set of Better Call Saul

The actor is currently under medical care.

Bob Odenkirk was rushed to the hospital Tuesday after collapsing on the set of Better Call Saul.
The actor and his fellow cast members were filming in New Mexico when Odenkirk collapsed, and an ambulance was called. He remains under medical care. TMZ first reported the news.

Odenkirk was shooting the Breaking Bad series' sixth and final season, which was originally slated to air later this year but has been delayed due to COVID restrictions.

It's been a busy year for the comedy vet, who in addition to appearing in TV shows like I Think You Should Leave, No Activity, and Mom made his first foray into big-screen action in Nobody. The 58-year-old trained for two years to prepare for the film, learning boxing, jujitsu, karate, and judo moves so he could execute the intricate fight sequences in the production.

Better Call Saul concluded its fifth season with tantalizing cliffhangers. Lalo (Tony Dalton) marched off angrily into the night after piecing together that Nacho (Michael Mando) had conspired with others to kill him, while Kim (Rhea Seehorn) not-so-jokingly proposed a plan to sabotage Howard (Patrick Fabian) to get that Sandpiper suit settled, much to the shock of Jimmy (Odenkirk).

It's unclear how far along the series was in filming its final 13 episodes, and whether Odenkirk's medical emergency will delay production.

I'm starting to think this may not be something minor.

Usually they'll release an update telling you the person is doing well, recovering, etc. but they have yet to do so.

On top of that Bryan Cranston is asking for prayers which makes me think he may have heard something from people on that show who used to work on Breaking Bad.

Sounds like a heart attack possibly, at least he's awake and expected to recover:

Bob Odenkirk was hospitalized for a "heart-related incident" ... sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ, and it was touch-and-go for the last day but it looks like he's now out of the woods.

Bob is awake inside an Albuquerque hospital and we're told he's on the rebound, but when he was rushed to the hospital Tuesday after collapsing on set it did not look good. We're told he was not conscious during the early hours in the hospital, although he's now lucid.

Bob's rep tells TMZ, "Bob and his family would like to express gratitude for the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, as well as his cast, crew and producers who have stayed by his side."

The rep goes on ... "The Odenkirks would also like to thank everyone for the outpouring of well wishes and ask for their privacy at this time as Bob works on his recovery."

TMZ broke the story ... Bob was rushed to a New Mexico hospital Tuesday night after collapsing on the set of his show "Better Call Saul."

Production sources told us Bob and the rest of the cast were shooting when the incident happened, with Odenkirk going down and being immediately surrounded by crew members as they called an ambulance.

By Wednesday morning, Bob's close friend from his "Breaking Bad" days, Bryan Cranston, was calling on fans to send positive thoughts and prayers Odenkirk's way, saying he was anxious to learn his pal was hospitalized.
