best episode of the series by far and saul was in it for all of 5 minutes.
i don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing.
I actually wanted to see MORE of Saul in this episode.
He's real quirky & always has great 'delivery' of his lines.
Anyways, I agree.. this was definitely the best episode so far

...
and it was a great insight into exactly HOW their lawyer / client relationship got started.
Before this episode they just 'worked at the same place' & occasionally 'crossed paths'.
But now we see exactly 'what makes Mike tick'... PLUS we get to see how Saul is the person who 'connects the dots' (one by one) between ALL the major Breaking Bad characters.
The show is getting better & better.

And I like the pacing so far.
It's not all gunplay, drug lords & meth dealing.... every. single. episode.
SIDENOTE: I don't think a series that revolved around Mike's character ALONE would last as LONG as this one will... because he's not involved in wild shootouts & life-or-death gambits all the time

... he's more like a
'cleaner' or 'free-agent' who leads a quiet life most of the time, so his gun battles & brutal activities always have solid 'purpose' that advances the plot, and pushes the story forward.
But Saul has ALOT more zany activities involved in his day-to-day life that make for good (individual) stories that are tied together, imo.
With Saul as the star.... the stories & casting can go in many, many different directions, as we have already seen.
(ie. Husband & wife embezzlers, twin skateboarding scam artists, psychotic drug-dealers, rival lawyers, dirty cops, hypochondriac brothers, ex-girlfriends, asian salon owners, outrageous publicity stunts.... the list is endless.

)
