like I said earlier this is essentially a love letter and thank you to loyal fans of breaking bad...

but I think as it goes on it will stand by its own merits.
I like the pacing so far and I damn near guarantee all that stuff you don;t like or think is boring or superfluous?
will pay off royal in a few weeks.
I hope so....I was throughly bored with last night's episode but I'll give it a chance....ain't shit else on tv on Mondays unless a good game is on...I'll give it a chance tho

Elaborate, please.

The look...notice the husband dresses talks and has the mannerisms and even glasses of a young Walter white.
The wife is aggressive bossy knows money and treats the husband a certain way...
it's the same diner.
however a young inexperienced Saul can't close the deal later he has them (whites) eating out of his hand.

Something about this show is off maybe is the writing but it feels flat

Saul is the only one getting good lines , in breaking bad everybody was good

The tuco scenes weren't as good

But that scene where Saul called mike an old man or something & hit the gate button that made me laugh

Saul was annoying on BB so watching him as main character is tough.

The way he raided that tent was hilarious

I see what you did

yo I aint gonna front....I just caught it when you wrote it...

I was responding to what you said about the brother...

I can t wait to see Mike's story....he knew a lot of the people in Breaking Bad

I want to see how he met Gus and Lydia......

Saul is an attorney. It's not like the show is gonna be some shoot-em up bang bang type of show. Breaking Saul is really for BB fans as it is a slow burn as you see how Jimmy became Saul and Mike became The Fixer/Cleaner.

A Gus show would be making chicken and plotting revenge against Don Hilario or whatever his name was.

I'm enjoying how the show is unraveling. I'm sure as the episodes go on, there will be more apparent BB easter eggs and connections.

* boom and there it is in a nutshell

WOW...

I don't feel like its slow at all.

It might seem slow thought if the expectation is to just to see all the younger versions of the established Breaking Bad characters

Like MB said its a NOT Breaking Bad and I like the pacing and the Easter eggs throughout.

They have to create an entire extension of an existing universe we all familiar with and still surprise and engage us.

That is a hell of a challenge.

In about a 3 seconds of a scene they confirmed that his brother was faking with no big fanfare or anything.

His continuing to hone his skills as a lawyer and develop his moral compass

We are now introduced to Mike...

remember Saul is the what ALL these character will eventually revolve around he is the connective tissue.

So all this needed to be established before we progress deeper into what makes everyone tick.

And I think this will be a great way to introduce a variety of characters we are anticipating without just making it a look at who it is !! every week.

Watching this show just feels like dry humping a dime piece through her jeans. Even if the anticipation makes it exciting at first, at some point, she's gonna have to give up that pussy or you lose interest... especially if you already fucked her friend (Breaking Bad) who was a freak in the sheets. It's been 4 episodes of 'potential' with this show... it's time for them to start delivering the goods or I might have to wait and binge watch this shit on Netflix. :smh:

I was glad to get some back story on Mike. Hopefully there's much more of that to come, considering he was such a well-liked character on BB.

Listened to a few eps of the It's Saul Good, Man podcast today and a fan of the show who has given them insight on locations/addresses/photos in Albuquerque, NM in recent memory noted that the house they use for Chuck (Jimmy's brother) is actually on the same block (across the street) from Jesse's home in Breaking Bad.
