it's still on them because lalo was a free man because of jimmy

if he had cooperated with the prosecutors/agents at the courthouse instead of lying about knowing him -lalo wouldn't have been out of jail

Good predictions.

Going to be interesting to see how much we get in the way of the flash forward(s) to Gene solo, or with Kim that we get. We didn't get the flash forward in part 1 of this final season.

Heard one of the podcast recappers make a great point.

IF they stick the landing and give a great ending to Better Call Saul as a prequel and tie things up well flashing forward (post - Breaking Bad) with Gene ... that's pretty formidable long-form storytelling from Gilligan and company. Breaking Bad from 2008 - 2013, and Better Call Saul from 2015 - present. Even more difficult in that they followed a great show ... with a great prequel. No easy feat. Much easier to just branch off and do sequel spin-off series.
