People say the dumbest shit.. do they really think 49ers is gonna pay 50 million dollars a yr for a guy to sit on the bench? No matter how good Mac is playing when Purdy ready they gonna put him in cause they invested to much in him.. now I don’t know if Mac jones a free agent or not next yr but if he is maybe another team looking for a starter or possible replacement will get him( somebody like the jets)

yeah, no player is gonna ride the bench getting paid all that money. I don't understand why they think he's gonna steal purdy job. But at least they got a good backup that can play because there's not a lot of quality backup QB's in this league.
